This is a wonderful place to stay for the Safari trip. The room was huge and outdoor bathroom was beautiful (they even had a little veranda deck for the room). It was a very comfortable stay and easy to be picked up from for the Safari to Udawalawe national park. The hosts were very welcoming (loved their welcome juice) and they even let us have our breakfast later after returning from the morning safari. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Good safari opportunities nearby, which the hotel can also arrange. Rooms looked brand New, beautiful and well maintained. Very comfortable. Lovely swimming pool. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay in Udawalawe and the surrounding area.

What an amazing place, what an amazing experience. First of all, thanks to all the staff members. They are extremely friendly and helpful young guys and definitely made my stay better. The hotel is much more beautiful than the pictures, I was really really impressed. My room was perfect, very stylish, big and comfortable. I had A/C and a fan, a refrigerator, selection of tea and coffee, bottled water. It's a dreamy place and I loved it. Food is also amazing. I had packed breakfast everyday and it was really good and I was out in the forest all day so did not have lunch. But the dinners, oh my god. Fantastic food, amazing ambience. I can not recommend this place enough. I'm definitely going back and probably staying longer than my previous 4 day visit.

Our room and bathroom were clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and surrounded by trees and wildlife while still close by the main road. We decided to have one meal at the accommodation and Hashan went out to find all the specific ingredients to make polos, which we really wanted to try. It was delicious!😋His wife and son were also very nice and always around. Our safari tour with the family went great too! It’s totally worth it. We saw quite a lot of elephants and many other animals in the park. Hashan really knows his way around well and is great at spotting anyone hiding in the bushes or trees. He also answered all of our questions about the different species. Overall, we recommend the whole experience offered at Chill House Safari Resort!❣️

They welcomed me warmly. So I felt like it was my home. What is especially worth mentioning is that they have the lowest prices for safaris in the Udawalawe area.. But I must say that their safari service is of the highest quality. All their rooms are very high quality and very clean. Their food is very delicious. I have unforgettable memories with them.
