The location is superb close to national park entrance especially if early morning start. Surrounded by nature so you feel when you arrive relaxed. The meals were delicious. Gabrielle and Sanjana the couple who own and run the property were super friendly organised a safari for us. They made our family trip to Sri Lanka very special. The resort features an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi throughout the property. Reihan and Claire took exceptional care of us from the get-go till the farewell. The property just screams privacy and luxury and so does the mentality of their staff. Reihan greeted us personally and also led the two safaris in his capacity as the head ranger. Could not recommend it more to anyone who hasn't experienced it. Block 5 in terms of the area for our safari felt kinda small in a good sense and we spotted a wide range of wildlife from crocodiles and elephants to leopards, mongooses, land monitors and birds. The food was delicious and rest assured there was plenty of it. Since we signed up for the all-inclusive package, we were pampered 24/7. The three-course meals were both absolutely yummy and generously sized. The cocktail were as delicious as potent. Unfortunately, we had only booked one night, but we'll sign up for 2 or 3 nights when we come back to appreciate the experience even more.

Kapila and Nirosha, the couple owning the place, go out of their way to make the possible impossible. As I arrived late, we were in regular contact and they waited up for me. The rooms are basic, but have a great value for money. In addition, Nirosha, is cooking fresh local Sri Lankan food every night. It was super delicious. Just be aware that they charge extra for the meal. I booked the safari into Yala park through them and Kapila joined as our tour guide. He is really knowledgeable and passionate about nature, with a special fascination for birds. I also appreciated that I could store my luggage there during the day as I continued my journey in the evening. The couple even was so friendly and followed up that I made it save and sound to my next location.
