But what truly made our stay special was the staff's warm hospitality. They made us feel like family, not just guests. And the location? Perfect! Close to Yala National Park, they even helped us arrange an unforgettable safari experience. We also loved lounging by the swimming pool, a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The room is fantastic. The food is fantastic. Gabriel is a wonderful host. We were lucky to meet him and the whole family and he made us feel at home right away. If you want to see Yala National Park, The Den at Yala is the place to stay: very close to the park and high standard quality. I will definitely recommend to stay there.

Reihan and Claire took exceptional care of us from the get-go till the farewell. The property just screams privacy and luxury and so does the mentality of their staff. Reihan greeted us personally and also led the two safaris in his capacity as the head ranger. Could not recommend it more to anyone who hasn't experienced it. Block 5 in terms of the area for our safari felt kinda small in a good sense and we spotted a wide range of wildlife from crocodiles and elephants to leopards, mongooses, land monitors and birds. The food was delicious and rest assured there was plenty of it. Since we signed up for the all-inclusive package, we were pampered 24/7. The three-course meals were both absolutely yummy and generously sized. The cocktail were as delicious as potent. Unfortunately, we had only booked one night, but we'll sign up for 2 or 3 nights when we come back to appreciate the experience even more.

We had a wonderful stay! Our host showed us the sugar cane plantation, went on a little safari with us, spoiled our two little boys with sugar cane and river adventures and we couldn't have imagined a better stop on our road trip through Sri Lanka! The food was delicious, the service too and the host family was super friendly! Thank you for everything! We'll be happy to come back!

Hospitality from this lovely couple is second to none! We benefitted from Kapilla's excellent guidance whilst in Yala, seeing no fewer than 3 leopards, elephants and so much more! He took us to quiet locations away from other vehicles as we wanted, identifying birds and plants, his knowledge of Sri Lankan natural history is excellent. The room was spotless, spacious and comfortable.

Highly recommend. Very good place with friendly staff and a pool helpful for the weather. It met all our expectations. Hotel food was not up to the standard. However, overall experience and other services were exceptional.
