The family who run the hideaway are all attentive, generous and go above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable stay. I was able to swim in the river each day and eat delicious home cooked meals 3 times a day. I had not planned to visit the rainforest or this area of Sri Lanka and I ended up pivoting to find some solace for my final three nights and I'm so glad I did. Thank you to the property owners for looking after me. I'd love to stay again when I return to Sri Lanka.

There is nothing not to like. It’s one of the best experiences I’ve had form a staffing experience. Every iota of details is looked after from the moment you arrive. Not a single stone is left unturned. Every member is courteous friendly and keen to help make sure your stay is spectacular from free yoga to a daily cocktail it’s the little things that matter through to coming over and helping arrange things to do for us in the morning. The rooms are stunning overlooking rice paddies with a phenomenal sunset glistening off the water. The large rooms with fans and aircon make for a really nice experience for those that don’t always want cold air blasted overnight. Sitting with your feet in the plunge pool in the morning watching the birds go by with a coffee is quite special. Food. Where to begin. So so so good. You’re in for a treat.

The Mirissa Reef Serenity hotel was absolutely stunning and not only met but far exceeded my expectations. Nestled in a peaceful and secluded location, away from the hustle and bustle of Mirissa, the hotel truly lives up to its name. It is situated on a pristine, almost deserted beach where tranquility and silence reign supreme. Walking along the shore, you can discover beautiful seashells and coral, and if you venture about 400 meters to the left, you’ll find a beach perfect for swimming and snorkeling with turtles – an experience that truly delighted us. The hotel owner, who personally attends to guests, was incredibly kind and hospitable. The food was equally delicious and completed this unforgettable stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for peace, natural beauty, and a unique getaway!

Nastanitev Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort je v mestu Deniyaya in nudi brezplačen WiFi, vrt, teraso ter opremo za vodne športe. It’s run by a lovely couple and their young son. They are so hospitable and friendly. The lodge is set in idyllic location by a waterfall v peaceful in nature. There are only 3 rooms which are immaculate and have all amenities. The food is amazing breakfast and dinner so healthy plentiful and so v tasty. They arrange all treks and trips so everything is easy even the leech socks. We did a day rain forest trek and half day village waterfall and temple trip seeing all the rural village life. Definitely recommend and hope to return some day

Located in Weligama, Weligama Temple Tree has a garden and free WiFi. All rooms boast a private bathroom. The rooms also have a terrace. Guest rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area. The room was absolutely beautiful, and the bathroom was large and clean. The guesthouse is just around the corner from the beach, so it is easy to go for a quick swim. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a fresh king coconut. All the amenities (A/C, wifi, shower) worked great. The owner was very kind, he even arranged to drive us to Udawalawe.

Situated in the Mirissa Beach district in Mirissa, 500 metres from Whale Watching Mirissa, Resort of Happiness features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property and views of... Loved the hosts, always helpful and trying to accommodate our needs. Clean, basic facilities and the location is great, close to everything. Plus a lovely garden to chill (beware of insects)

We had a wonderful stay at Neomi Beach Resort during our honeymoon. The resort is beautiful and very quiet, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The beach access is amazing, and the restaurant was absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed every moment and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay in Weligama.
