This place is worth not just a detour but the whole trip to Sri Lanka. The road to get there from St Clair is a breathtaking ride through the tea plantations. The resort is beautifully designed and well kept. We received a free upgrade and our rooms had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the jungle and a river valley down below. Every detail of the décor of the rooms is tastefully picked and the result is elegant without pretense. The food was interesting, good and fairly priced, and served on a beautiful deck with a vista. The staff was friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and it will remain a high point in our two-week visit of Sri Lanka. Incidentally, it is a steal!

Incredible hotel! The overall vibe of this hotel was unmatched, it was a little sanctuary in the middle of the mountains with the most amazing views, vibe and atmosphere. The staff were so incredible and helpful, working to go above and beyond to make our experience special. The food was excellent too! Amazing walks you can do, tea plantation on site, even we got a free upgrade and had the hotel infinity pool pretty much to ourselves! Would 100% recommend! Lacanta was great and super helpful too!

Excellent hotel with astonishing view with infinity pool. Hotel reception and staff is extremely welcoming and super nice. They made us feel this hotel is your 2nd home. The hotel has two amazing views. The front yard is a relaxing area all day. Hotel owner (Mr. Udaya) and his team were always available to help and make our stay unforgettable. They went beyond their job by inviting us visit Mr.Udaya farm and give us some plants and seeds for my mother. This place is good for relaxing and enjoying the green mountain view. It exceeded my expectations and will definitely be my hotel if I visit Candy again. Highly recommended for people after view, relaxation and generous hospitality.

I had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the free refillable water, the lovely pool, and that both the air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. There’s also a laundry service available. The location is very quiet and peaceful—just a bit further from the city center, but definitely worth it for the relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

Location is incredible. Staff is so friendly. Got the honeymoon suite for half the price of the website, therefore great value for money. The tent was a dream and we are so happy that we spent one night there. One thing that could have even further improved our stay: a bootle of bubbles in the minibar fridge - we would have bought it :)
