The hotel may seem a bit austere at first, with a few small shortcomings (for example, a reading lamp by each bed would be nice), but nothing essential. The staff and service are excellent, and the manager is very involved — he asks for feedback every day and genuinely cares about guests’ comfort. Although the hotel is a little farther from the city, the distance is more than compensated by the stunning view, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Madu’s cooking! He’s an excellent chef — the beef is delicious (even if it’s not Argentinian), and the soup, his specialty, is outstanding. I doubt I’ll ever return to Kandy, but if I do, this is definitely where I’ll stay again.

Calm and quiet neighborhood. A very good option if you want to stay for a few days in Kandy. With PickMe you can be in the city centre within 10 min. Roveena is a wonderful host who wants to help with everything, like transport or go to the Kandyan dancers, go to a nearby hotel with swimming pool (extra charge to use that pool). She also does tours to Dambulla, really nice. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place. Would give an 11 if possible 😉

The owners were so nice it was like home away from home they prepared beautiful vegetarian dinner for us and a packed breakfast as we left early, beautiful clean room with super comfy beds I would definitely return.
