We had our own spot on the beach with amazing views of beach and sea. Very spacious rooms, we stayed 2 adults and 2 children (5 and 7) in a palam suite, with an extra bed for one child and a sofa bed for the other. Plenty of space for us. Great food - but everything is pricey compared to other places in Sri Lanka, however, also luxurious. Breakfast was generous and very good. Good activities also, we did the cinema under the stars and the children loved it. The place itself is beautiful, the beach is beautiful, the sea is calm and clear waters. You could see the local fishermen at the beach in mornings and afternoons.

The accommodation is right on the beach. Watch the fishermen haul in the nets in the morning. Meals were very good although not cheap. A little bit out of the way but if you want total relaxation, seclusion and a peaceful stay at a very reasonable price for the area this is highly recommended. The touches of candle lit on the terrace at night, flower pond at the entrance of the villa, nice eating area all add to the atmosphere.

This resort has a private beach area and offers water sports facilities. Bike hire and car hire are available. You can play table tennis and darts at the resort. Our time in this hotel was awesome. The hotel staff is very kind and is always smiling when you see them. The food and breakfast was very good. You could always order fresh fruit juices. We were in the End of June and there were not a lot of people staying. So it was really calm and the service was perfect, as well as our room (suite). The beach in front of the hotel was one of the best and cleanest i have ever seen. We went for a walk on the beach to see the beaches of the other hotels there and i just can say in front of the Calm Resort was the best and cleanest beach. Also almost no shells have been there. The water of the sea was warm. I couldn't have imagined it better.

Very picturesque with the blue colour waters, we took a lot of photos! You can either swim in the private beach of the hotel and see corals, or walk over to the public beach without corals. The pool was good, lounge beds spreaded over the area provided a nice place to experience the wind and the sunsets. There was a lot of guests at the hotel but it did not feel overcrowded. Staff are very polite. Buffets were nice. They also had a place to play board games. Also jet ski, paddle boats etc were offered for additional charges. Staying for more than 1 night was a good choice. Will definitely go again.
