The staff were incredibly attentive, at times it felt like they intuitively knew what we needed before we even asked. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience unforgettable, though we did notice that communication in english could be improved slightly. The beach is beautiful and peaceful, with great amenities and stunning views. However, due to broken coral in some areas, it's not ideal for swimming right in front of the resort. They do provide sea shoes, which are really helpful. Just a short 100 meter walk along the shore brings you to clearer, safer spots perfect for a dip. The massages at the spa were excellent and the poolside drinks were among the best we've ever had.

We stayed at Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa for 8 nights and were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety - spicy local dishes, continental options, lots of seafood, fruits, and yummy desserts. It was easy to find kid-friendly meals, and the restaurant staff were top-notch. Our cottage was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing from top neighbors. Housekeeping was fast and flawless special thanks to Thasitha and Viraj for keeping everything spotless. The resort was peaceful and not too crowded. The pool was clean and well-designed for both kids and adults, with a nice bar nearby. The beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming in June. We also loved the kids’ animation. Richie, the animator, kept kids entertained with fun activities, giving parents time to relax. He was friendly, creative, and great to chat with. This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - clean, cozy, family-friendly, and well-managed. Highly recommended!

The remoteness suited us. Probably better if u have transport as you are a bit isolated but food and drink are available. The rustic beach has poop on it from the cows and goats that pass but it didn’t offend us, we liked watching them. Great to watch the fishermen too. We loved it.

The beach is just amazing. Our rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The food is also great absolutely love their Thai fried rice and mango passion fruit smoothies. We stayed with our 3 kids and they all had such a great time.

A spa, fitness centre and restaurant are available. Beautiful 5* resort, I'd say it's typical European standard with large rooms, some western TV, fast wifi, beautiful beach and nice pool. We also enjoyed the restaurant (priced really reasonably). Breakfast was typical resort type with mix or western and asian with egg station, coffee/tea, fruits, jogurts. Staff was super accommodating, friendly and very attentive. We had a really nice time :)

The staff were friendly and always ready to help us. We also enjoyed the fresh and tasty food, especially the seafood. Our room was clean and comfortable, with great views. If you want a quiet and relaxing place with amazing Ayurveda treatments, Giman Free is perfect. We will definitely come back! 🌿💆‍♀️💙
