I’ve stayed at Oleena Homestay before and loved it, so I’m back again. I like the serenity of the place set among trees and plants and bird songs. And the hosts, Jeewa and Masha are wonderful people with their lovely daughter Oleena. The breakfast were sumptuous and they are able to arrange savoury lunch and dinner 😋. Masha is a great cook. 😍 The garden rooms come with your own private balcony. One may have the food at the balcony or at the nice airy dining hut. Jeewa was able to arrange trips around the area. Excellent hospitality. 😊

The accommodation at Levona Garden Resort was absolutely exceptional. We definitely recommend this place to everyone. The resort is run by a very nice and friendly family who will help you with everything and give you tips on what is worth seeing. We had planned to visit the various national parks in the area, but the Resort recommended a cheaper version of the park where the elephants are currently migrating and we saw a lot of them and at half the price of the national park. Because they can figure out where the elephants are, you have a good chance of seeing them. They also helped us find a reliable driver for our next trip from Habarana. There was a very pleasant atmosphere. The resort has a beautiful garden with a swimming pool and in the evening they are willing to cook you a traditional Sri Lankan dinner which was absolutely delicious. They made us feel the true spirit of Sri Lanka so definitely go there.
