I decided to go here after reading all the amazing reviews about this place, vibe, hospitality and food. And it did not disappoint :) The deers are everywhere!! We opted to go for the bird watching activity and the guide was extremely well versed with all the birds. They also have freshly made jams and pickles for sale. I love the fact that this place felt so homely and they employ the local folk from the nearby village. If you're lucky, you might end up spotting elephants or bears.

Sure, it's a bit pricey but it's money well spent for a delightful experience. The staff were amazing and attentive, responding immediately to any feedback, including my comment that the jacuzzi wasn't working (turned out I hadn't turned on the right switch). The room was modern, well-furnished, and comfortable, and had an amazing view. The bed allowed me to have a good night's sleep, and breakfast was satisfying. I was also impressed with the strong Wi-fi network, which was pretty bad during my stays at other Yercaud hotels. I had avoided the hotel in the past because I thought the hotel was too far away from the main town but I was wrong. A brisk walk will get you there in 15-20 minutes. I also liked the little Sky Walk near the restaurant--it's interesting to look down when you're standing on the clear glass parts of the walkway. Overall, a wonderful property with charming staff.
