Must try Boat rides starting from the resort to have a beautiful view of Back Waters. Wifi was good. Overall stay was very good.

Windflower Resort is 8 km from Vinayaga Temple, Pondicherry Railway Station and Pondicherry Bus Station. We received a warm welcome when checking in and then were shown to our room. We had a second-floor room with a nice view of the garden. We could watch the birds in the trees and the staff care for the beautiful gardens from a large balcony. It was a great place to relax. The room itself was large and had modern facilities to turn electrics on and off. That might not be everyone's cup of tea. The bathroom was very nice. And we were also happy to have been supplied with bottled water. The meals at the restaurant were fantastic. There are not a lot of other options available in the area. The staff were fantastic in the restaurant. It was nice to have staff come and talk to us, including the chef. The place definitely had a resort feel. The pool was great and the staff tried to put on different events at night to keep everyone entertained. The beach is close by, though, our choice was to use the beautiful resort pool and enjoy sunsets from the beach.
