Everything about this resort was delightful from start to finish. A friendly and efficient welcome at check in, the hotel lobby area is warm . Rooms are spacious and well stocked and our toddler received his own set of mild kid-friendly toiletries and mini dressing gown which he of course loved. The hotel is located close to a number of hiking trails which we took advantage of . The restaurant offers best quality food with greta choice of local and other cuisine.All great quality. Service was very attentive on the whole and we were very happy with the stay. Would definitely return here again.

I stayed in Hearth and Haven for 5 nights and I have to say it is the best accommodation I have stayed in India. The room is super spacious, well lit and in a very good location: right in the middle of Leh market. It has hot water and nice shelves to put stuff in and plenty of blankets so you won’t be cold. Overall it is very good value for money. The host Angmo was super kind, warm and welcoming. She helped us with lots of things: heating dinner, preparing hot water, booking our taxing and even helping me with tracking my package from Srinagar (which was supposed to be sent to the homestay but didn’t arrive). She is like our mom in Ladakh

We could not be more grateful to have chosen Dolkhar Resort as our base for exploring Ladakh in late September 2024. The overall experience was beyond perfect and really made a huge difference to our travel. We were so impressed by how everything was coherent and beautifully curated in such remote location. The property is really flawless and done in such good taste. Everything is sustainable without any compromise on the comfort and aesthetics. We loved every detail of it. Their lovely staff helped us arrange everything before coming and define the itineraries for both the local trips while staying in Leh as well as the few days trip to the more remote locations. Everyone was extremely kind and looked after us during our stay. We ate at Tsas restaurant everyday and tried probably all the dishes which were local or modern interpretation of the local cuisine and each time it was a beautiful experience. It was clear to us that the people behind Dolkhar have put a lot of heart and thought to make this place so special. Facilities were awesome. Their secret perk which is not part of their facilities, is the great supermarket jet below the hotel. You can but almost anything found in modern supermarkets there. Their staff were great too

The place is owned by a couple, Indrani and Vikram providing an exceptional hospitality ! Away from Leh and the dogs barking at night, we spent three very relaxing days. The food was always an impressive experience, with a romantic setup in the garden.
