It was the best homestay I’ve been in my month in raja ampat. They are professional and they thought of many importants détails to make your stay comfortable. They had healthy options for the meals. They have a great communication and answer your questions, need and boat trip organization very fast.

This was, without a doubt, our favorite homestay in Raja Ampat. A stunning white sand beach with a vibrant, healthy reef just steps from our bungalow, perfect for snorkeling every single day. The bungalow was spacious and airy, with a large bed and one of the most comfortable mattresses we’ve had on our trip (complete with a topper!). The food was excellent — varied, plentiful, and delicious. We’re really going to miss the afternoon snacks! (Huge thanks to the lovely cook!) We also really appreciated the boat used for transfers and excursions: shaded, powerful, and ideal for reaching amazing spots like Wayag and Aljui Bay quickly and safely. Even during snorkels in strong currents, we always felt safe, someone was always in the water with us, guiding the way and pointing out the most beautiful parts of the reef with great care and attention. Ferdinand, our host, was truly outstanding, warm, helpful, on time, and incredibly professional (which really makes a difference in this part of the world). He gave us great tips for the rest of our trip near Waisai, and when no other guides were available, he personally took us to see the bird of paradise. We even had a lovely breakfast with him at the traditional Waisai market — such a special window into local life. Jou Suba isn’t just a beautiful place, it’s a genuine, heartfelt experience. Every detail is taken care of, and you feel it. Highly recommended.

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Amazing!!!!! Uau, thank you Aron for having us in your piece of paradise. Amazing place, super comfortable bungalows on top of the water with a hammock. You can see baby black tip sharks from your bungalow passing by. They have a great spot for the sunset!! Food is ok and enough for everyone. We would like to thank Raya for the amazing experience with the mantas, he wanted to make sure we had the best experience and he was super nice!! Thank you Aron and Monde for the kindness and the music, it was such a cool bonus to hear you guys singing!! We will never forget the days we spend here!

A. Perfect stay, a toilet, shower, clean water villas with AC, and coral reef at the jetty

Our week at Villa Luzo & Tours was truly one of the most beautiful and best vacations of our lives. Our expectations were exceeded in every possible way. The villa itself and the views from the jetty are breathtakingly beautiful. The food, lovingly prepared by Debbie and June, was a delight every single day: fresh, varied, and incredibly tasty. And then the tours… what an experience! Under the fantastic guidance of tour guide Christian, we had the time of our lives. We discovered stunning places, and the snorkeling was absolutely magical. The warmth, the hospitality of all the staff, the atmosphere, and the unique mix of relaxation and adventure made this trip truly unforgettable. We 100% recommend Villa Luzo & Tours and would gladly return in a heartbeat. An absolute must for anyone seeking a paradise-like experience filled with personal attention and unforgettable moments.

I loved it here. My favourite place in Raja. Amazing beach and great snorkelling right in front of the bungalow. When the tide is high you can just jump in. Even though Kri is the most touristy island, it's quiet here because it's the furthest away homestay in the area. So at night you can only hear the waves breaking in front of or underneath your bungalow, and sure, the occasional gecko laughing or dog barking, but otherwise it is peaceful here. As for the accommodation, it was basic but I had everything I needed. The food was delicious. Best I had in Raja. Fish, chicken, eggs, sauces, lots of vegetables, green pancakes with peanut butter, banana cake and bread, fried banana, papaya, watermelon... and coffee, tea and instant chocolate. All in all, I really enjoyed being there. After just a few days it felt like home. So after 5 days, it was hard to leave this amazing homestay.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Raflow Resort for 5 nights and we’ve had a lovely time! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff will go the extra mile to make sure you have a fabulous and memorable stay in paradise. If you let them know what activities you would like to do, they will organize it for you. The food is phenomenal; everyday there is a selection of fresh fish, chicken, rice, various vegetables and fresh fruit. The rooms are clean and comfortable (soft bed, hot shower, spacious) and the AC is a real plus, we didn’t encounter any mosquitos. Overall a great place to stay a couple nights to explore Waigeo!
