Czech RepublicOur stay at Six Senses Con Dao was unforgettable. We deeply appreciated the hospitality of the entire team, who provided us with above-standard services. They were smiling at us all day long, making us feel loved and cared for, which created an exceptional atmosphere. This is undoubtedly the hotel’s greatest asset.
The resort has a unique concept of butler service, where each guest is assigned their own GEM (“Guest Experience Maker”), who is available anytime to fulfill any wish. Our lovely GEM, Cookie, did a fantastic job despite the fact that we are very demanding guests.
What truly surprised us was the personal care provided by the top management. The resort manager, Lakmal, spent significant time each day with guests, inquiring about our needs to ensure our stay was exceptional. Any issue we raised was addressed immediately to our full satisfaction.
The real highlight, however, was the personal care from Chef Memo. My wife is vegan, and every day he personally asked what she would like to eat and prepared completely personalized meals for her. Even when I expressed interest in something off the menu, he simply made it – and the taste of these meals was absolutely fantastic. Huge respect and thanks to Memo! We must also mention the amazing breakfast, which featured an incredible variety. For example, just fruits were offered in a large, cooled room, and there was a special “bar” that prepared fresh fruit juices and smoothies on demand. Yong was totally spoiling us.
The housekeeping service was excellent – cleaning and turndown were done discreetly during our breakfast or dinner, so we hardly ever saw the staff, which maximized our privacy.
There were also many small, thoughtful touches. For instance, if you wanted to go outside, they not only provided free bicycle but also included a helmet, a bag with water, snacks, and wet towels. This demonstrates the admirable “obsession” of every employee to make your stay perfect.
