The owner was really nice kind and helpful. He allowed us to check in earlier and later as well which was super helpful. The breakfast pancakes are super yummy 💕 I also highjly recommend the daily trip what they offer by Eco Tours.

First time i've rated a 10 but i loved staying here, the best guest house i've stayed so far. To swim in the pool surrounded by mountains was quite magical. It was a little like a resort than a homestay with an open feel, table tennis table, pool table, sea view(some rooms). My room was great, well equipped and the wifi for me was super fast. The family were so generous and helpful, i felt part of the family while i was there. I met some lovely guests here too. The location is away from the main road etc making it peaceful. Town is about 2.5kms from The Homestay though they do rent scooters(Tong Thu Beach next to town is lovely). I was a little nervous to stay at first because i read some bad reviews on google maps just before check in but thankfully, the claims in those reviews were not true at all. Overall fantastic, especially considering the very affordable price.

The family and hotel were just perfect. The location and view are spectacular, away from the main hustle and bustle, making it very comfortable. We had a meal with the family, and it felt full of love. I highly recommend them

Tran Chau Garden Home has an idyllic setting. Tuyen and his family made my stay in Cat Ba incredibly easy and unforgettable, always charging super affordable prices, namely: - renting motorbikes to visit the island - delicious homemade dinners with options for typical Vietnamese dishes but also international cuisine - washing my backpacker clothes - presenting various island visit packages, including a 1-day cruise in Ha Long Bay that I had the privilege of enjoying and which exceeded my expectations - purchasing the return trip to Hanoi - at night they offer a free foot bath with essential herbs!! - breakfast has many options cooked on the spot and is free. The homestay has a calm and welcoming atmosphere and the garden is beautiful with the green mountains as a backdrop. The feeling I'm left with is one of absolute gratitude for the hospitality and a strong desire to return.

An amazing homestay. Everyone is lovely and helps you get the best time. The place is paradise like and easily the best homestay of Viet Hai as it is the most immersive with little bungalows blending into the garden. The bungalows are quite confortable and clean. Would stay again for sure!

I felt at home at Rustic Homestay. Linh, the host, is very welcoming and helps you with everything (booking a boat trip, explaining the ferry options,...). The beds are very comfortable, amongst the best I had on my 3 months travel. Everything was super clean. I would strongly recommend this homestay!

Rooms were really spacious and comfortable. Very clean throughout. Hot showers. Aircon and fan in the rooms. Hangers in the room. Food in the restaurant was very tasty. Really friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings, need a bike to get around though.
