Situated just a short walk from the center, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the island. Everything—from the harbor to restaurants and shops—is easily accessible, yet the hotel still offers a peaceful and relaxing environment. The views from the hotel are stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. Waking up to the sight of the harbor was one of the highlights of my stay. It’s the perfect spot for travelers who want to enjoy both convenience and scenic beauty. Beyond the location, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a staff that goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

Beautiful view from the balcony, hot water with good water pressure in the bathroom, 2 double beds, free breakfast, water refills, motorbike available on site for rent, swimming pool, ping pong table, and billards table available. Fantastic stay, cheaper and bigger rooms than in town, only 7 minutes drive drom downtown. Would definately stay again.

I had such a lovely stay! The owners and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming – you can really feel they care. They made me feel right at home from the very first moment.They’re always happy to help with anything you need, at any time. The breakfast was amazing, offering plenty of delicious options. The area is so peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views that make you want to stay longer. Truly a special place – I would happily come back anytime!

We booked a room for 1 night, to experience and see if it suits our requirements, but we were surprised because the staff here are very enthusiastic and always make sure to meet our requirements. They also gave us a discount for 2 nights and helped us book cruises on Lan Ha Bay, and helped us book a bus to Ninh Binh, and also helped us book a hotel room although it was not their job but they were always enthusiastic to support me when I needed it whether I was in Cat Ba or at the guest house, the staff always asked me via whatsapp to make sure we were always safe, thank you.

Tran Chau Garden Home is such a lovely place to stay, and we cant recommend it enough. The rooms are simple and nothing luxurious, but you will get world class service from this lovely family. The food is excellent, yet prices very low. They even serve you a herbal foot bath in the evening - included in this extremely fair price. They helped us book our cruise in the bay which we loved, and also transport from and to Hanoi. Everything was very professional and personal! We would definately stay here again.

An amazing homestay. Everyone is lovely and helps you get the best time. The place is paradise like and easily the best homestay of Viet Hai as it is the most immersive with little bungalows blending into the garden. The bungalows are quite confortable and clean. Would stay again for sure!
