Situated just a short walk from the center, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the island. Everything—from the harbor to restaurants and shops—is easily accessible, yet the hotel still offers a peaceful and relaxing environment. The views from the hotel are stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. Waking up to the sight of the harbor was one of the highlights of my stay. It’s the perfect spot for travelers who want to enjoy both convenience and scenic beauty. Beyond the location, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a staff that goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

First time i've rated a 10 but i loved staying here, the best guest house i've stayed so far. To swim in the pool surrounded by mountains was quite magical. It was a little like a resort than a homestay with an open feel, table tennis table, pool table, sea view(some rooms). My room was great, well equipped and the wifi for me was super fast. The family were so generous and helpful, i felt part of the family while i was there. I met some lovely guests here too. The location is away from the main road etc making it peaceful. Town is about 2.5kms from The Homestay though they do rent scooters(Tong Thu Beach next to town is lovely). I was a little nervous to stay at first because i read some bad reviews on google maps just before check in but thankfully, the claims in those reviews were not true at all. Overall fantastic, especially considering the very affordable price.

The family and hotel were just perfect. The location and view are spectacular, away from the main hustle and bustle, making it very comfortable. We had a meal with the family, and it felt full of love. I highly recommend them

Beautiful clean room, a spacious closed shower, free breakfast and easy scooter rental. This place was amazing. Also, Nam is the man. He helped us with the scooters, planning visits, booking the boat tour, booking the bus and the hotel to Cao Bang. A one man army. Bonus points for the cute little dog chasing people's ankles.

The rooms are housed in small bungalows and are located in a very lovingly designed garden. Our room was clean and the size was okay. There was even storage space. Air conditioning and fan worked well. The food in the associated restaurant was very good and the prices for it were also very okay. We also made a night trip by kayak to see the bioluminescent plankton. It was great. The breakfast was also very good and the evening herbal foot baths for which you can sign up are highly recommended. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel absolutely welcome. The best thing was that the facility is outside the city and thus far away from karaoke bars and the street noise. Very suitable for people who like to enjoy peace and quiet.

Rustic homestay made my stay on Cat Ba Island very pleasant. The host is so nice, helpful, and fun. The rooms are in good condition, it's very new and it's a cheap place to stay for everything you get. Hot showers, comfy beds with airco. The food there is good and every night we hang out outside around the tables and hammocks and the host would join is every now and then:) Thank you!
