We loved everything about our stay here. The location is great for traveling and owner helped us a lot with booking our boat tickets to Koh Samui. The room was excellent.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Nestled next to a river connected to the sea, we were able to enjoy watching the tides ebb and flow. The greenery surrounding the property made it a perfect spot for relaxation and unwinding. The hosts were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond by assisting us in planning activities, sharing insights about local customs, and always being lovely and approachable.

In the midst of the jungle you’ll find this hidden gem of a place called Suankafae resort. Your hosts will welcome you with smiles and coffee, making you feel at home right from the beginning (they even picked us up at the airport). Once you get used to a couple of bugs, lizards and other animals (they have a very friendly dog), you can start to appreciate the surroundings. We had the luck of being there while the family came together for new years and felt like we were part of the family. Would recommend 10/10, don’t hesitate to engage with everyone there and really experience Thai Local friendliness.

Immaculately clean, modern large aircon rooms. Good restaurant and bar in evening, lovely breakfast and lunch cafe. Fabulous swimming pool. Charming friendly staff. The staff made all guests a beautiful Krathong (floral floating bouquets) to float down the river to celebrate Takham Loy Krathong (Nov full moon festival). A very special hotel experience indeed.

We booked our stay the same day as arrival, yet when we got to the villa we were greeted warmly and the accommodation was ready for us. We were shown to our riverside detached villa and completely shocked by how amazing and clean it was!. It was a huge space, all beautifully designed and obviously cared for. We had a super comfy bed with crisp clean linen. A fridge, dish washing sink, kettle, TV, and a large amount of storage and hanging areas. There was a large, immaculate bathroom with a good supply of hot water, shower, fresh towels and wc. The WiFi was very fast. The stand out thing about this property was the location, which was directly on the riverside, surrounded by beautiful flora and wildlife. The peace and tranquillity are incredible, and there is even a swimming pool for refreshing dips. There are two seating areas in the grounds, one of which is a magnificent gazebo over the water......HEAVEN!

Amazing villa. We had a great view of the city, the pool was clean and decent size, the villa was much bigger than we had anticipated. The staff were friendly and the room service was great.

We absolutely loved it. Everything was as described with one exception: The outside pool did not exist anymore. Apart from that the staff was lovely, very helpful and kind. The location itself is a bit remote and therefore really private. You'll definitely need a motorbike to get around.
