Excellent base for safari in yala. Only 15 minutes to the national park. Very welcoming, kind staff and always ready to help. They are well educated to show the wildlife, flora and fauna (really nice walk to a little village, exceptional safari in yala nationalpark). There is a rock just on the camp and after 2 minute walk you have a nice view. The rooms are fumigated every evening, so we didn't have to deal with any mosquitoes in the bed (the mosquito net worked perfectly if it was closed properly). We also didn't have to worry about elephants or other animals, as the doors could be closed well. We felt very safe at all times. The food was really good. If you like nature, it is just the perfect place to stay.

These villas are amazing! Plenty of room for our family of five. Small property (only two villas) with very attentive service and fantastic manager and staff. Food was great and the surroundings are truly unique - a short trip to Yala and a short walk to the beach (although not safe to swim at the closest one - which was fine as a it was a lovely walk and view.

Set in Yala, 1.6 km from Kirinda Beach, Wild Culture Yala offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

The food, the people working here, the location and facilities. The room had the comfiest bed, nice coffee, all in the middle of nature with birds and paddy fields. Lovely pool, great breakfast, lunch and dinner. All of the employees were so friendly and attentive. It was only a short drive to Yala for safari. They packed us a nice breakfast for the early start...just remember to hide that breakfast in the jeep cab or the monkeys will take it😁stayed 2 nights, and extra one would've been great!

The property is exactly as described and even though there is only one restaurant - the options are plenty - we were so stuffed with the great food (kudos to the chef) and the service was exemplary. The tents are luxurious and very tastefully furnished.

Hilton Yala Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and private beach area in Yala. 21 km from Situlpawwa and 22 km from Tissa Wewa, the property provides a terrace and a bar.

Great location for yala safari. Resort is stunning. Staff are kind and friendly and helpful. Spa was worth doing, I went at night so I didn’t waste the day at the spa. Gym was great. Pool was unreal. All the food was great. Great breakfast. I had a great stay and will be back.

We had a great experience staying here and exploring Yala. The hotel arranged two safaris for us, and both were excellent. Our guide Sampath and driver Supoon were very knowledgeable, and thanks to their experience, we were able to see leopards on both trips. They knew how to navigate the crowds and where to go for the best wildlife sightings. The hotel itself was lovely. We enjoyed the view of the beach from our cabin, and listening to the waves from the porch was a highlight of our stay. The property’s access to nature was excellent. The nearby lake was a prime spot for wildlife viewing. We saw crocodiles, wild boars, and elephants there. The staff, especially Gayan and Saman, made an effort to connect with us every day, ask how our day was, and point out wildlife around the property. We would recommend this place for anyone visiting Yala and looking for a peaceful stay close to nature.
