The size of the tent room was great. Absolutely loved being able to go for a dip in the pool after a hot day. Highly recommend the bbq dinner as this was yet another highlight of our stay.

One of the most beautiful properties where we stayed in Sri Lanka. We had Chalet No. 1 as a family and it was very spacious and very well designed. What an unique experience ! Super friendly stuff, our host Damith was doing his best to make sure we had the best experience. They arrange Safari tours as well. Very quiet location.

The beautiful peaceful setting was great. The staff were very helpful. We chose this place to go on a safari in Yala National Park and we enjoyed it. From this area doing safari is quite easy.

I recently stayed at the Green Lake View Yala Resort in Tissamaharama with my spouse, and it was a truly refreshing experience. The resort is located in a serene and quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, making it the perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace and relaxation. Situated right in front of the picturesque Debarawewa Tank, the continuous breeze flowing towards the property adds to the charm of the environment. The ample parking space and well-maintained garden immediately caught our attention. The garden features a quaint little hut with a roof made from woven coconut fronds, where my partner and I spent hours enjoying the soothing surroundings and the gentle breeze. It was the perfect spot to unwind, even late into the night. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the manager. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and responsive to our needs, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. Although the resort is not a high-end luxury property, it exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and tranquility. The quiet time we spent there allowed us to fully recharge and refresh ourselves, leaving us completely satisfied with our experience.

The hotel is located in a nice place near the lake, not far from several national parks. Personnel was very helpful, room service was fast and good. If you go to safari you can ask for a breakfast package in the early morning which is very convenient. Spa is excellent, also we enjoyed pool area a lot. Great hotel to have a rest after a long journey around Sri-Lanka.

Our stay at The Yala Lodge was absolutely incredible. We had the great honor of being the very first guests – and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The villa and its private pool were so stunning that we actually postponed our safari by a day just to enjoy more time in this beautiful place. The villa is spacious, tastefully designed, and offers a breathtaking view of the lush greenery and pool. One of the highlights was being able to observe some wildlife right from the property – a truly special experience. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every meal was prepared with so much effort and love, and the food was fantastic. Communication with the very kind owner, Pradeep, was smooth and easy. He also provided us with great safari tips. Since we had to leave early for the safari (at 5:30 AM), they even packed us a lovely breakfast to take with us – such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spotless and met high Western standards – beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. All in all, we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. If we ever come back to Yala, there’s no doubt – we’ll stay here again! Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

Recently came from vacation to Sri Lanka from Munich and My stay at Flamingo Nature Resort in Weerawila was an absolute delight and a truly authentic SriLankan experience. Being surrounded by such beautiful nature, especially with the tranquil lake right there, really brought a sense of inner peace. Waking up to the sounds of nature and just taking in the views was incredibly calming and helped me truly relax and disconnect from the everyday hustle. I was also so impressed with how clean everything was. Our room was absolutely spotless - you could tell they take cleaning very seriously, which made the stay even more comfortable and worry-free. It's always reassuring to know that your space is so well-maintained. Beyond the beauty and cleanliness, I also felt a real sense of safety and security during my time there. The environment felt calm and well-looked after, and the staff were always attentive and present, which added to that feeling of being in a secure and comfortable place. Highly recommend!
