Our stay here was simply exceptional. Everything was at the highest standard – from the spotless and beautifully decorated rooms, to the food, which was among the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Every request we had was kindly fulfilled, the pool was clean and very well maintained, and the entire garden was perfectly kept. The place is just a piece of paradise on earth. Green, quiet, beautiful, modern yet cosy nature resort that brings you instant peace when settling in!! The rooms are fantastic with every comfort thinkable!! Huge cudos to the staff!! Ronson is a sweetheart that makes everything possible including a 5am tuktuk pick up, Sanjeewa in the restaurant most friendly, and I was the only guest on day 1 and the rooms are so nice I ended up having twice inroom service and despite heavy rains he brought the DELICIOUS food into my room with a smile! The chef is amazing, too. Breakfast and both my dinners were fabulous!! Wish I could stay longer but glad that at least it was 2 days! My room showed both rocks Sigiriya & Pidurangala from the bed & terrace which was stunning!! As I only climbed Sigiriya, I have a reason to come back to climb Pidurangala, too and when I I do, I’ll stay here again 🥰

Me and my friends had the best week at the Chena Huts. After this place all the other places we stayed seemed like a downgrade. Amila is literally the perfect host, jis family is very sweet, mom is the best cook. Amila is very attentive to all of our requests, he organised dinners, allowed us to be included in the cooking process, helped us with our laundry, even took us on trips around his village, rice fields, showed the local temple... The huts itself were very spacious, had mosquito nets, hot shower. Well looked after, comfortable beds. We could see Lion's rock just from our balcony. There were huge amount of birds and other animals surrounding us, so animal lovers will really like this. 110% recommend this place! We will never forget this experience <3

The Resort was like a little private paradise as they have a few private bungalows and don’t accept a numerous amount of guests. In addition the pool and restaurant area were very nice, giving the option of a various food menu (typical srilankan and international). The Staff was probably the greatest part of our stay as they were very kind and always satisfied our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying a few days in Sigyria.
