Wasn’t expecting this hotel to be as big and beautiful as it was! Our room was stunning - a reaaaally comfortable bed and we loved the wall art. Loved watching the monkeys playing outside the balcony and having multiple pool options for swimming. Staff were lovely.

Lovely hotel with caring staff. The hotel is located in a very romantic place - on the shore of a lake. The access to the lake is subtle and surrounded by greenery. There is an opportunity to go kayaking, which we took advantage of. While paddling a decent distance from the shore, my partner lost balance and flipped over on a single kayak. It was not dangerous at all since the lake is shallow, and we were equipped with life jackets. We were amazed that within 4-5 minutes after one of the two kayaks flipped, the hotel staff, in the form of rescuers, were already sailing towards us on a small barge. It was so pleasant. The hotel workers are extremely responsible, caring, and friendly. Our absence during the night (when we were at a party) was also noticed, and the hotel staff wrote to us, discreetly checking if everything was okay with us. Our stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations: the room was perfectly clean, the bedding was soft and of high quality, there was an extensive range of toiletries, well-maintained grounds, a clean swimming pool, and delicious food. This is one of the best places we stayed during our month-long trip around the island.

Nice apartment in the jungle, with a hammock on the balcony for evening relaxation. Well equipped and in close proximity to the beach, 5 min walk. Ruwan is a great host who cares a lot about his guests and is always willing to help. We would love to come back here again! Highly recommended!

Staying at the Guest House Sanda Hiru was an amazing experience. Initially, we had planned to stay for just two nights, as we were moving on to another city afterward. But I liked it so much that I ended up booking 8 more days to spend the last days of my trip there. It's a lovely family, warm, very friendly, and they do everything to make their guests happy. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and have all the necessary amenities. And the location is perfect, close to the main attractions. Excellent value for money. I must highlight the amazing breakfast! Prepared with much care by the matriarch of the family, it was absolutely delicious! The best I had during my entire month in Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel at home, this is the right spot. I highly recommend it 100%.

It was an unforgettable experience staying at this hotel. The view was stunning, with fresh coconuts right from the tree, a perfect, fresh breakfast, and one and only host. He took care of us like family members and was always nearby when we needed him. It’s 100% the most beautiful and peaceful place in Mirissa!

Great little beach resort in perfect location. We had a room right above the restaurant, very spacious, like a suite, built from beautiful teak wood with amazing views over the beach and the sea. I went snorkeling with turtles every morning. Snorkeling equipment and beach towels were provided. It's only a short walk from Mirissa, but we decided to eat most meals in the resort. The food was very good and they make very good pizza in a proper pizza oven. The owner Dilan couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. I wanted to buy some Sri Lankan mosquito nets and within minutes of me telling him, he got a tailor to make them for me for a very good price. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel like friends in the short time we were there. Would love to come back one day

One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka, great value for money, super helpful staff, big rooms including a big ensuite with plenty of hot water. They offer laundry service too. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night, would highly recommend.
