Amazing remote location surrounded by tea plantations and a lake, what a wonderful view to wake up to! Room was very luxurious and furnished to a high standard. We particularly enjoyed the infinity pool. Staff were outstanding and did everything to make our stay comfortable. They even provided us with transport for our Adam’s Peak sunrise summit. You have to stay here!

We stayed at Royal Majesty Bungalow one night as a way to break our train trip from Ella to Colombo. The 140 years old bungalow was an incredible piece of history in the green. The team made everything possible to make us feel at ease and we also got a very informative tour of the tea factory. Hatton is not a typical stop on the way to Colombo and you'll find very little tourism in the area.

Everything about our stay here was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff made us feel so welcome, going above and beyond to make our visit truly special. They were incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. And the food…..wow! Some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. From the authentic breakfasts to the mouthwatering dinners, every meal was an absolute treat. The building itself is breathtaking, with so much history and charm.
