Celebrating New Year’s Eve here was unforgettable. The team hosted a wonderful party that made us feel truly special with fantastic ambiance, food, fireworks and lanterns. What sets The Argyle apart is its exceptional staff. A heartfelt thanks to Vithugash who was just amazing and truly made our stay, Suren and Rushi for expertly organizing our trip to Adam’s Peak and onward travel, and our fantastic driver, Nishan. Amazing place to spend a few relaxed days in the Hill country. The food is delicious, and room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and Dhurka and Dhya are great hosts. I will come back soon!

We were lucky to be the very first guests at this brand new luxurious hotel overlooking tea fields and Castlereigh Reservoir. And we had the most wonderful stay because - our room/bathroom was big and very nicely equipped. The bathroom had a bath tub as well as the best shower we have experienced during our roundtrip in Sri Lanka - the food in the restaurant overlooking the tea fields and Castlereigh Reservoir was excellent - all the staff was very very friendly, attentive and accomodating - especially Mr Sathanahdah took great care of our wellbeing - the views - both from the room and from the roof top terrace are impressive - we enjoyed a walk along the reservoir and the tea fields We would love to come back to this beautiful place if we come back to Sri Lanka!

A most charming colonial bungalow with beautiful antique furnishings. The whole place was very well kept and the rooms immaculately clean. It was great just sitting out in the garden and enjoying the twitter of birds. Overall, a great experience staying here. The staff were very friendly and most helpful.
