Since I am not a fan of busy tourist places, the Maridian was the perfect place for me. It's worth the time to travel here, the view is spectacular. If I had more days to spend I would 100% have stayed longer.

It’s stunning in its location in the forest with birds and monkeys and squirrels. The architecture is gorgeous and rustic and the natural light and view are lovely. The authentic Sri Lankan breakfasts were the best we had on our trip. Different each day and delicious and VERY generous. The staff were always paying attention to see if you needed anything. And the house dog and rabbits were a big hit.

Everything about this property was out of a fairy tale. The trip into the mountains, away from the main town definitely made it worth the effort getting there. The dorm room offers an unobstructed view of the Ella valley, and the landscaping, architecture, and design of the place was amazing. The couple who own the property were friendly, accommodative, and helpful. Cannot suggest anywhere better for your private gatherings or to just escape into the magical, cool and misty hills.

Samadhi Nature Resort was the ideal getaway into nature, and my wife and I had a wonderful time there! We enjoyed watching wildlife from our room and waking up to the sounds of birds. The hiking trails were lovely and serene, providing stunning views. The host and her son made us feel very welcome by nice tea and snacks . They made Cookery class in the evening and had dinner together was amazing experience, It was the best Srilankan food we had ever . We can't wait to return back as it was a fantastic blend of adventure, leisure, and scenic beauty!

This is our second visit to this recently opened cottage. It was easy to locate using Google Maps and has a secure, free parking area. It is a lovely place to relax and stay. Although we traveled as a couple, there were two comfortable large beds that could also accommodate a family. You can order delicious food from the cottage owner, who prepares it for you. The place is impeccably clean, giving you a sense of being at home. The owner is very kind and helpful, and the location offers beautiful scenery, with a view of the black bridge on the Kital Ella railway track.
