If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The location and hospitality are tied for first place in my heart. They brought me fresh chai upon arrival, offered to let me borrow a bicycle to cycle around the canals, helped me to book a boat ride at sunrise, and provided me with the perfect place to unwind and relax. The AC is a wonderful bonus! I’ll be back. Thank you for the best time on the backwaters!

Food was exceptional - not only the Indian cuisine but the international dishes too. Staff were very friendly and great with our young kids. Everything was very clean including the pool. Gorgeous views. Had spa treatment too which was very relaxing. Kids playground was great for our kids ages (5, 8) as it wasn't too babyish.

The perfect retreat for a few nights of total relaxation - from the moment you take the boat to get there to leaving the experience is fantastic. Absolutely stunning location, the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, professional and welcoming. A beautifully well kept location. The food was excellent from breakfast to dinner. The highlight for me was Navin the yoga/meditation guru - morning yoga sessions and evening mediation was the perfect way to start and end the day. Navin is very kind and experienced teacher, really a pleasure to meet him, he’s also incredibly knowledgeable about books and reading, so please ask him to recommend a book if you’re a book worm like me, he was fantastic!

It is a very beautiful resort.Each and every staff/employee of the resort was helpful.It was near to the lake which makes the environment very relaxed and calm.Please who are looking for relaxed stay with lot of amenities for kids it is a must visit property.They have their own house boat also.

Location is marvelous wherein you get an experience of nature both forest, canals, backwaters and the large lake...The bird sanctuary adjacent/along the resort was amazing experience for the children. Hospitality & Food is always great at Taj.

Absolutely loved our stay. The resort is one of the best in it's category. The warmth, friendliness and hospitality is unmatched. The best resort we've stayed at. All our requests were met with a smile. Special mention of Ragesh, Jithin and Regimon. Whose service was exemplary.

It was amazing Resort The facilities were really good.. We went at a quite time but still we’ve been looked after so well!! The pool is very well maintained but some part of the steps can be a bit slippy at the corners so be careful of that.. Also eating out side at bite time can be tricky.. Google it and find a good place before you go out as we went looking for a place to eat outside but it was hard to find a good one

This is undoubtedly a beautiful resort with excellent facilities and well appointed rooms. I would describe it more as a family resort than a relaxing spa as there were a lot of young children about, however this might have been due to North Indian holidays. We enjoyed it, but with a few reservations.

Excellent location and super friendly staff. The place has a warmth of its own. If you are looking for luxury and exceptional room service I would suggest Kumarakom Lake Resort BUT if you are looking for a stay closure to nature with original Kerala cuisine then go for Coconut Lagoon. Some staffs like Md Shafi, Lekha, Christopher, Jijo were super helpful. If you are travelling with a toddler - then this is THE place.
