My partner and I enjoyed our stay at The Inaka in Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The charming cottage we stayed in perfectly balanced comfort and nature, with every detail thoughtfully curated. Waking up to the soothing sounds of nature and exploring the sanctuary made us feel deeply connected to our surroundings. The food was comforting and fresh, enhancing our experience even further. Every moment—from the warm, personal service to the peaceful ambiance—felt genuine and heartfelt. We left with our hearts full and tons of bird pictures.

We stayed in the sea facing cottages right on the beach and with our own sun loungers. Cottages are well appointed and clean, with very comfortable king size beds. There are great restaurants either side of the Retreat, plus many more (spoilt for choice!) Helpful and friendly team.

Whilst the Lalit might have started to show its age here and there, it has a distinctive character to it that sets it apart from other five-star resorts of more recent construction. Its architecture, gardens, location and sports facilities are of a very high standard indeed. Best of all, here you really feel that you are in India (in an entirely positive sense). Staff members are welcoming and helpful and some, like Ajit from the restaurant and Abishek from the bar, really went the extra mile to make our time here as pleasant as possible.

Atruly magical experience! The atmosphere was wonderfully serene and calm, perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The sound bath session was nothing short of enchanting—a deeply rejuvenating experience I’ll never forget. They got everything right in this hotel. Nice clean big rooms, comfortable beds, spacious balconies with comfy cane furniture, plenty of hot water and a good shower, a safe box in the room for your valuables and drinking water and toilet paper provided. We booked with breakfast, which was always well prepared and very tasty. There is a choice of fruit, pancakes, cornflakes, various omelettes, a goan breakfast, bread and jam and any form of egg. Plus fresh fruit juice and tea or coffee. What's not to like! The best thing about the place, however, is the people. The cleaning staff always had a smile, the young man serving breakfast could not have looked after us any better and Marilyn and Clive on reception are truely the loveliest couple who really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Such nice people! It was a real pleasure staying at Eve's resort.
