The hotel is really grand! We went there with parents to spend the new year eve. All of us really enjoyed the stay. (+) Staffs were very cordial and welcoming. They some time went the extra mile to ensure that we feel comfortable (+) The rooms were huge and the beds were very comfortable (+) The food options in both dinner and breakfast were amazing

The Westin is a luxurious hotel providing all the amenities expected of a good 5-star hotel. I am not sure why but maybe because it is off-season in Kolta, but I thought the Westin was excellent value for money. It is probably more expensive in peak season. My room was spacious with an excellent desk and chair. The room has a huge bathtub and the shower is uite spacious. The special Bengali New Year's buffet dinner at Seasonal Tastes on the 10th floor was absolutely superb. I have not had so many excellent and exquisite dishes for a long time. They had live music during the dinner and I was entertaining people I wanted to chat with. We were promptly relocated to another part of the music where is was quieter and one could chat more easily. The gym is well-equipped and the swimming pool is also quite enticing. A special shout-out to the exceptional and helpful staff especially Mr Pranab Banerjee, Jr Sous Chef, who goes out of his way to attend to residents during breakfast, as well as Rinky and Tamal at Seasonal Tasters. The breakfast spread is exceptional. The only other place where the breakfast spread exceeds that offered at The Westin is the ITC Royal Bengal (in my opinion). All in all, I will certainly consider the Westin the next time I am in Kolkata.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Rajbari Bawali and were truly mesmerized by its grandeur and heritage charm. The property is breathtaking, with its regal architecture and serene ambiance transporting us back in time. The food was delightful, and the facilities exceeded our expectations. A special mention to Kunal Parui, a young and dedicated restaurant staff member, who took exceptional care of us. His sincerity and warmth made our stay even more special. He not only attended to all our needs but also shared fascinating stories about the history of the Rajbari, adding to the experience. We absolutely loved our time here and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for those who appreciate history, luxury, and impeccable hospitality!

The hotel takes care of its guests as if they were its children. Experienced so much hospitality. Perfect pickup at the airport - they greeted me at the luggage belt, so I didn't have to go and look for a driver, which is very much appreciated. Special thanks to Sanjib who promised to do a small research work for me (I was looking for the address of a particular historic site that you won't find on the web). Thanks to Shahat and Shaheen at the front desk, and also to the nice man at the table next to reception - whenever I needed anything, he was always quick to offer his help. Very nice hostel, would highly recommend. The owner is a superb host, he treats you like a friend and is open to having great conversations. He speaks perfect English. If you stay here, you feel the local experience, not a commercial experience that tries to treat you like royalty.
