Portofino exceeded our expectations since we entered the property. The resort is very nice, large and very well maintained. Everything is clean, and the staff is very friendly and caring. As soon as we arrived, Mostafa helped us through our stay and made sure we were not missing anything and all was perfect. It sincerely was. He did a great job in making sure our stay was fantastic. I have a been in various resort around the Mediterranean, and this is definitely the best one. The pool (where some are heated) are very fun and well adapted for the kids. Ours are 3 and 6 and they enjoyed it a lot. The food in the various restaurants is well above what you could expect in "all in" resorts. They make sure is it varied everyday and you can find everything you need. You have different choice of where to go for lunch or dinner, depending if you are in the aqua park or near the beach. There are bicycle everywhere in the resort you can use to move from one place to another, this is very convenient as the resort is very wide.

Was a nice stay in DLX room with a sea view. Daily cleaned, food was delicious, drinks as well. Staff were amazing, helpful and kind. There is a pier to go for open ocean. Very usefull for (lets say advanced) snorchelers. You may join the program there to not get bored. Big thank you to the staff and all the respect to them! When we will need again rest after diving, we will happily come back here, without a doubt 🙂 Petra & Daniel

The beach and the sea are amazing, really outstanding. The beach areas are beautiful, lots of space and privacy, access to the sea is fantastic and the sea itself with its unique marine life is a paradise. The food is excellent, lots of different dishes that we loved, international or local, a really great food experience, breakfast, lunch and dinner were just delicious. Than you very much to all the staff, for the kindness granted to us 24/7 and for making us feel at home. We loved every single aspect of our stay. Everything was outstanding. Simply PERFECT. A fantastic place—this time we visited the hotel spontaneously, but it’s already one of our many stays here. The hotel is perfectly located, with excellent service and very good food. We had a wonderful time and will be coming back again in a few months. Special thanks to Tarek at the reception, who helped us organize everything on-site, as we decided to come at the last minute. It was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.
