This bush escape was just what my wife and i needed. A disconnect from our busy lives. Peaceful, quiet and serene.
Very friendly staff, amazing food and we had a an awesome guide, Stuart. The Manyoni park itself was teaming with healthy wildlife and it is very well maintained with limited vehicles.

The friendliness of the staff. We arrived late afternoon and even though there were some challenges with them seeing the booking, they managed to resolve smoothly. In the morning as well, the breakfast was very nice and the staff treated us very well

The complex was a huge thermal leisure park and very nicely laid out. There are various hot and cold water pools, all kinds of leisure activities for young and old. There is even a slip line. The staff were very friendly.

It was my forth or firth time using oxford lodge as my accommodation away from home. The service is always exceptional and the staff is very welcoming and friendly not to mention the manager that guys is the best!

The place is still the best to visit, with its happy people...
The place is still the best to visit, with its happy people. The place has changed a lot with public areas neglected. Areas that were previously accessible are now restricted, eg. One cannot drive through to get closer to the bay area. I used to enjoy parking in between those trees. The ocean was not clean and had evidence of burnt residues. The sand bags at the beach needs to be rearranged and renewed. Hoping it will be improved soon as December vacation is coming.

The staff is very friendly😊 One of the staff members called me to check if I was safe. I arrived late and he was still waiting for me as I was travelling from Joburg. It felt like home away from home ♥️ They should keep it up! What a spirit of Ubuntu😊

there was very little that impressed me and certainly not value for money.
roads to the resort are terrible with many potholes .
weekend buffet was really good but a la carte for the rest of the week is mediocre with some items not available.
the complete resort needs a revamp .
no effort is made to entertain guests
hot pools were really good but there should have been refreshments available nearby ( 300m ) to get a cooldrink.

Was a great adventure, Lodge facilities very peaceful and relaxing overlooking the water hole. Homely food in the restaurant. Roads need attention, but am sure will improve with time.
Communal kitchen and braai areas had everything needed. Beautiful scenery, sunrises and sunsets.

The cabins need to be cleaned properly. Everything was dirty. The bathrooms were not pleasant and The Fans had thick dust as if it hadnt been cleaned in ages !

Mkuze is the best place to stay if you want to visit the...
Mkuze is the best place to stay if you want to visit the Mkuze Game Reserve. We saw plenty at the two hides - herds of wildebeest, impala and nyala and plenty of birds.
It's about 60 km to the Memorial Gate entrance to the Imfolozi-Hluhluwe Game Reserve - we got up early and got there as the gates opened to spend the day in the reserve.
It's also worth driving up Jozini and taking a boat out on the dam. The hotel has a great offering of tours with their own guides.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful hospitality I received during my stay this past weekend. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed.
The food was exceptional and truly exceeded the value of what we paid — generous portions, great taste, and beautifully presented. Gogo’s warm and caring hospitality made the experience even more special; it is clear that she loves people and takes pride in making guests feel at home.
The pool experience was also fantastic — clean, refreshing, and perfectly positioned for relaxation.
I was equally impressed by the quality of the furniture and the attention to detail in the décor — everything is top-class and thoughtfully put together, creating a comfortable and elegant environment.

I was there for a funeral, honestly i didn't have enough time to explore the area. My driving in town was a nightmare because of the congestion. Went out to buy food and didn't have enough options to choose from.

Richards Bay is clean but when you at the open parking's of the Boardway by Bluff meat entrance, it's super untidy it's like you have moved to a different place all together. It's a little bit scarry to park and leave your car there.

There was no option to choose your breakfast, have received already packed breakfast not even asking what would i like for breakfast. Was so not happy with that and i feel they over charged the place, it not worth for that pricing.
