It was very busy during boxing day but nice to see pelican island and to visit the yachting club. Good restaurants included Gecko Inn. The beach was a bit full due to holiday season i would recommend visiting out of season

roads to the resort are terrible with many potholes .
weekend buffet was really good but a la carte for the rest of the week is mediocre with some items not available.
the complete resort needs a revamp .
no effort is made to entertain guests
hot pools were really good but there should have been refreshments available nearby ( 300m ) to get a cooldrink.

The Canfields were very breath taking if you love nature. Empangeni Mall has almost every shop that you need. Tasted the new famous chicken restaurant called Pedro. Everything is close to each other. I mean ATMs, restaurants, gas stations and food shopping centers.

The cabins need to be cleaned properly. Everything was dirty. The bathrooms were not pleasant and The Fans had thick dust as if it hadnt been cleaned in ages !

Mkuze is the best place to stay if you want to visit the...
Mkuze is the best place to stay if you want to visit the Mkuze Game Reserve. We saw plenty at the two hides - herds of wildebeest, impala and nyala and plenty of birds.
It's about 60 km to the Memorial Gate entrance to the Imfolozi-Hluhluwe Game Reserve - we got up early and got there as the gates opened to spend the day in the reserve.
It's also worth driving up Jozini and taking a boat out on the dam. The hotel has a great offering of tours with their own guides.

Was a great adventure, Lodge facilities very peaceful and relaxing overlooking the water hole. Homely food in the restaurant. Roads need attention, but am sure will improve with time.
Communal kitchen and braai areas had everything needed. Beautiful scenery, sunrises and sunsets.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful hospitality I received during my stay this past weekend. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed.
The food was exceptional and truly exceeded the value of what we paid — generous portions, great taste, and beautifully presented. Gogo’s warm and caring hospitality made the experience even more special; it is clear that she loves people and takes pride in making guests feel at home.
The pool experience was also fantastic — clean, refreshing, and perfectly positioned for relaxation.
I was equally impressed by the quality of the furniture and the attention to detail in the décor — everything is top-class and thoughtfully put together, creating a comfortable and elegant environment.

Firstly the do not have a generator when electricity goes off.
The checkout time was 11:00am thats what the lady at the reception said, did they not chase us out the house around 09:45am.They wanted to clean the rooms.i was so disappointed
When we already checked out they chased us out of their yard.They didn’t even let us wait inside the yard for the car which was going to take us home.
They said once you checked out you not allowed to wait inside you have to be out of the yard.They do not care about your safety at all🙁😞

The place is still the best to visit, with its happy people. The place has changed a lot with public areas neglected. Areas that were previously accessible are now restricted, eg. One cannot drive through to get closer to the bay area. I used to enjoy parking in between those trees. The ocean was not clean and had evidence of burnt residues. The sand bags at the beach needs to be rearranged and renewed. Hoping it will be improved soon as December vacation is coming.
