We stayed at the hotel with friends and really enjoyed it. It was very cozy and friendly. The staff created a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere — everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. The parking attendant directed us to our parking spot, we switched off the engine, stepped out of the car, looked towards the ocean and.... saw whales, whales and whales. The proximity to the cliffs of these majestic mammals was just spectacular. The Marine is perfectly located and we spent a lot of time sitting on our balcony 'whale gazing'. Enough about whales. The Marine breathes quality and class. We truly enjoyed our high ceiling room with comfortable seating area and bed. The bar and restaurant offer high quality drinks and food in a very relaxing atmosphere. All members of staff were very friendly. When we return to Hermanus, we will certainly come back to The Marine.

Wonderful & spotless hotel where any guest is truly invited to relax. Gorgeous rooms with panoramic views to the ocean, well equipped from the whirlpool in the rooms, to the little biscuits and chocolats available, to the options to watch Netflix directly setup. The team running the hotel is beyond fantastic - special mention to Dean who has truly made our stay special with his impeccable service, positive attitude & attention to detail (we got our own private dinner on the balcony!). Highly recommended hotel.

One of the best hotels we stayed in South Africa. Wonderful place, beautiful territory, warm stuff, tasty food, hot tube (!) near the water, stunning view and no people. Hotel was fully booked but we saw almost no other guests. Even in winter it was warm in the room. Room is fully equipped. You will find everything you need. We fully relaxed here. Room was cleaned twice a day. Welcome snacks and drinks in the room were very tasty. You feel like they waited for you, like you are really welcome here. I can recommend this lovely place to everyone, you won't regret.

Everything is wonderful, what an amazing place. An Oasis. We even decided on an extra night and will return. The garden is amazing, the hot tub and pool superb and the service spectacular. I cannot recommend this enough. Diego and Réka are support hosts. If you want to de-stress or take a break this is the place.
