The Hotel is amazing! We had the best time watching Hippos, Elefants and all kind of animals from the terrace. The Pool was very clean and the rooms as well! We spent 2 nights in Motswari Private Game Reserve and it was an unforgettable experience! Wonderful food, service, exclusivity and personal attention. Our ranger, Marius was exceptional and made every game drive and our walking safari unforgettable. His trackers, Elvis and Misha was just as amazing with their knowledge of the animals and the bush. We saw 3 of the 5 "big five" in just 1.5 days of being there, thanks to these guys. The food and service at the lodge was beyond our expectations in every way. I was a vegetarian and they catered for me with exceptional skill and charm. The food was really outstanding, thank you Glenda and team! Our other hosts, Desmond and MJ looked after every detail and made our stay wonderful. Our room was large, luxurious and comfortable. We each had a great massage too (thank you Lerato), in a space where you can watch giraffes walk by... The setting of this private lodge is amazing, you overlook a river with giraffes and elephants walking by. We even had a hyena come close to us while sitting around the camp fire - so special. This was a once in a life time experience and we hope to be back again soon!

It was a delightful experience! The property is exceptionally well-maintained, with brand new cottages that are not only beautifully designed but also spotlessly clean. Although we didn’t get a chance to use it, the pool looked very inviting (and clean). One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to a nearby national park, which allowed us to see some amazing wildlife right from the property. It was such a treat to watch the animals so close by. We also enjoyed the estate’s restaurant - breakfast was tasty and made with fresh ingredients. It is a fantastic place to stay, offering comfort, cleanliness, and a wonderful connection to nature. Highly recommended!

Each excursion felt unique and Shane and Warren are clearly so passionate and knowledgeable, making every sighting big or small an incredible experience. A Lush Garden of Eden

Mountains, rivers, canyons, valleys, waterfalls, savannah, wildlife…  These are some of the things that can be said without being able to ‘tell’ the magnificence of this paradise. South Africa’s eastern Mpumalanga Province offers treasuries like the Kruger National Park, the Blyde River Canyon and the Sudwala caves.

It is divided in 2 by the Escarpment of the Drakensberg Mountains, with peaks 2,000 metres high. Travelling east, the area of the Lowveld hosts half of the Kruger National Park, shared also with the Limpopo Province.

Entering the Lowveld from Lydenburg, the Long Tom pass leads you to the charming town of Sabie. Graskop is close to Blyde River Canyon, while Hazyview is near the Kruger Park’s Skukuza Gate. A wide range of Mpumalanga hotels are available in these towns.

The picturesque Nelspruit is the provincial capital. From all the hotels in Mpumulanga, Nelspruit has probably the greatest variety, due to its economical and administrative importance. The proximity to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport makes the neighbouring White River a good option.

Malelane, Komatipoort and Marloth Park can be found following the Crocodile River towards Mozambique. They offer great accommodation, sometimes directly inside game reserves.

Our stay at Timamoon Lodge was unforgettable. The lodge is peaceful, private and surrounded by nature, such a perfect romantic getaway. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. A special thank you to Dirk, who supported us in every way, even when my husband became sick on the first night(from eating somewhere before arriving in Timamoon). He also rescued us when our transfer van struggled on the steep dirt road, even with an injured leg, he came immediately to pick us up. We are truly grateful. Thank you also to Roy for arranging a beautiful surprise birthday dinner for my husband Paul, such a heartfelt and memorable experience, as well as dropping us off close to Timamoon gate as the transfer van was unable to collect us from the lodge🤭 We enjoyed delicious meals every day(we requested the copy of the menu for souvenir), cozy evenings by the fireplace, and we loved the special experiences the lodge offers. We tried a small hike near the entrance (the rain stopped us halfway, but it turned into a fun adventure when we rode the free tuk tuk back to our lodge-from Timamoon gate). You can also request for a picnic by the river or a private cinema. We also saw the peacocks and monkeys☺️ Just a note: the last ±4 km to the lodge is a dirt road and can be tricky, especially when it’s raining, but the lodge is very helpful and assisted us after our driver contacted them(the transfer can also be arranged by Timamoon if you are not driving) Overall, the service, the privacy, the nature, and the thoughtful surprises made this trip one we will never forget. Highly recommended for couples looking to relax, reconnect, and feel truly taken care of.

This is our third time here – always at the start of our South Africa trips. The remote location allows for absolute peace and quiet, while the Panorama Route with all its attractions is right on our doorstep. The staff is super friendly, everything was very clean, and the meals are absolutely delicious. We visited several waterfalls here and hiked the Secretary Bird Trail at Mac Mac Pools. It's an easy walk, about an hour and a half, through beautiful nature.

Nelspruit is a well run city, s gateway for anyone passing through to Maputo-mozambique, Limpopo, the Kruger Park. The one bad thing about the place is lack of taxi services like Bolt or Uber locally. One has to do with the local minibus taxis which do not always service some areas and operate at set hours. There are some operators but charge speculative fares due to the absence of app based taxis. I'm told this is due to minibus taxi operators blocking their activities. An example is going to/fro the airport which is problematic, or going to Maputo. There are few options.

The unit was very spacious, well maintained and excellently fitted out. Close to the Kruger Park Restuarant food was simple and very tasty Beautiful Golf course very well maintained - even some game on show (impala). Monkeys were a bit of a pest the first day, then didn't bother us after that I would avoid the route via Sabi unless you want a very slow tedious drive!

It is like living in the true African wild. There are excellent restaurants serving great food, as well as convenient small shops to stock up on anything you may have forgotten. And if your love of the wild needs another boost, it is 30 minutes from the incredible Kruger National Park.

This was my first visit to the area and I found the natural beauty absolutely mind-blowingly magnificent. It is already a tourist hub and, as a South African, I truly hope the roads can be improved and poverty reduced so that it becomes an even more attractive place to visit.

Spacious and comfortable room and lovely pool and gym facilities. Immediate access the park so great for self-drives or guided tours. The breakfast buffet was excellent but the evening buffet was pretty average, however, there are other restaurant choices within walking distance.

Did not have enough time to go to various places due to commitments, but the place where we had a meeting was great i.e ANEW highveld hotel. We bought food for our supper at Barcelos at Reno ridge shoping centre. The food was great.

This is a hidden gem and well worth the travel. It is South Africa's highest town at 2100m above sea level and breathing can be an issue if you have lung problems. Not too far from the N4.

Not too far from the N4. About an hours drive to most attractions, like the Kruger, Lone Creek Falls, Lisbon Falls and God's Window. Graskop Gorge is also on the way to Blyde River Canyon. The scenery while driving makes the drive worth it.

We use Malelane as our last stop into Kruger.

We use Malelane as our last stop into Kruger. Being 7 hours away not only is it a good resting stop after a long drive but also the opportunity to stock up on Supplies. There is everything you need at the Mall. Between Spar & now Woolworths you are able to stock up well. Nice and close to entrance to Kruger.
