SwitzerlandI booked in Lucca Lodge, but because of a function there, I was offered to stay at the nearby Mopane Lodge. Everything was simply exceptional, from the friendly smile at the main gate, to the warm welcome at the reception, the great bar and restaurant service and the excellent food. The staff is very kind and helps you with whatever comes up. The pool area with the view of the waterhole is amazing, we spotted a Waterbucks, a male Lion, a Hippo and lots of other animals during and after sunset. I will definitively come back!

GermanyThe accommodation was absolutely fantastic. The whole complex has been lovingly designed, everything fits together wonderfully and is very well maintained. There is both breakfast and dinner, which is always freshly prepared and lovingly arranged. There are also many nice stories and tips, which the hosts are happy to share. Absolutely recommended to spend a few relaxing days. Mapungubwe National Park is also nearby and well worth a visit. There was always WiFi and light in the room even in load shedding, as this runs on separate lines. The whole team does an excellent job and are wonderful hosts.

The milkshakes and freshly squeezed orange juice at the restaurant are the best! We also loved the gardens and big trees with identification tags. The game drive was wonderful, seeing the sixth biggest baobab was breathtaking. The pools are very well maintained and the water is very soothing. We stayed in a chalet and was not impressed with the cleanliness and the lighting is very poor. Only one toilet and you have to go through the bathroom to use it. I had to hurry up my bath/shower if someone wants to use the toilet. The maintenance done inside the chalet is poor and finishing is subpar.Guest review byErikaAustralia - 10.0

Basically you can go on games drives, visit Mapungubwe national park and see the Kaoxa rock paintings There are loads of Baobab trees on the road from Musina to the park. But still worth a visit to Musina Nature reserve if you have a 4x4 vehicle.Guest review byOleNorway - 8.0

a good resting place for crossing the border to Zimbabwe, but I didn't have time to explore the city, It is a good railway station for onward journey by sleeper train JNB. Traveling by train in a separate compartment is very cheap and safe. Throughout the journey, a security team with a car escorts the train up to JNB.From Pretoria, the train to JNB is moving slowly because the railway has stolen cables.It suited me because I wanted to stay longer and sleep on the train. 2 hours from Musina, the train passes through a beautiful mountain range.There is warm food on the train, 220 V charging and comfortable sleeping in a wide bed between the sheets.Guest review byTammEstonia - 10.0
