A small village on the east coast between George and Knysna. People are friendly and services adequate for basic needs. Plenty of restaurants catering for a variety of cuisines some of them highly recommended. The accommodation was awesome, the reception super friendly and informative. The view was unequaled. It was a most memorable stay. The meals at Dutton's Cove were amazing. So glad that we chose Herold's Bay as a destination and Ozone Apartments as our host. The hike to the cross and the view from there was breathtaking. We were even blessed to see well over 300 dolphins in 2 consecutive days and 2 whales. Will definitely re-visit.Guest review byBrown - 10.0

The whole experience was just first class. Whilst travelling tot he venue there was a phone call to assist with booking in and enjoyment of the facilities. The pictures on the web site do not do justice to the actual facilities and rooms etc...... recommend a new set of photos as it was much nicer in reality than expected........ What wasn't closed for Easter was mostly booked out. Not much to do or see. Beaches overdeveloped or off limits to non residents. Not a tourist friendly town. It is perfect if you are adults wanting to get away from the noisy city. Very very quiet and peaceful. I would not recommend it when traveling with kids as there are not really any facilities for them at the property, However, the beaches, restaurants and coffee shop are about 10 km away.
