    I stayed 3 nights in Beside Still Waters. It would have been better to stay much longer. The property is beautifully laid out. The view of the lake is marvellous. The house is a very good starting point for various excursions. I stayed in the Upper Deck Apartment. It really had everything I needed. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is very comfortable. The rooms are very tastefully decorated. It is a tranquil area. Every morning and evening the birds will sing for you. Ronelle and Stephan are very friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you for letting me stay with you. I want to come back

    We all loved George.

    We all loved George. It is so close to so many attractions and beautiful areas. It is a good base to be at to do day trips. George is so clean, and no potholes. We wished that we had more time to look around. We had a fantastic meal at Cula restaurant.

    Loved the view and i enjoyed climbing the stairs to our room. The room was cozy, bed very comfortable - had all we needed. All shops, restaurants and beach in walking distance, loved our beach strolls. The artist was busy with the most beautiful paintings within the subway leading to the beach. The breakfast at the place was delicious so we enjoyed dinner at The Blue Olive the Friday night and Ilali the Saturday night. We enjoyed the Saturday market, so many stalls.

    The accommodation was awesome, the reception super friendly and informative. The view was unequaled. It was a most memorable stay. The meals at Dutton's Cove were amazing. So glad that we chose Herold's Bay as a destination and Ozone Apartments as our host. The hike to the cross and the view from there was breathtaking. We were even blessed to see well over 300 dolphins in 2 consecutive days and 2 whales. Will definitely re-visit.

    The whole experience was just first class.

    The whole experience was just first class. Whilst travelling tot he venue there was a phone call to assist with booking in and enjoyment of the facilities. The pictures on the web site do not do justice to the actual facilities and rooms etc...... recommend a new set of photos as it was much nicer in reality than expected........ Great communication and helpfulness. Would recommend to any traveller.

    The quietness of the location as well as the ease of access to other areas. close to some very good restaurants (we did not try them all). we had many whale and dolphin sightings as well as abundant bird life.

    What wasn't closed for Easter was mostly booked out.

    What wasn't closed for Easter was mostly booked out. Not much to do or see. Beaches overdeveloped or off limits to non residents. Not a tourist friendly town. Nearby "Wilderness" was a joke with SAN Parks waiting to fleece overseas visitors just to go for a walk. Four days of disappointment.

    A small village on the east coast between George and Knysna. People are friendly and services adequate for basic needs. Plenty of restaurants catering for a variety of cuisines some of them highly recommended. Beautiful beaches close by and stunning drives into the countryside at your doorstep.

LOW ON STOCK AND THE BREAD WERE OLD.ON SUNDAY THE PLACE WERE PACKED AND SOME VISITORS HAD FIGHTS OVER PARKING SPACE.AS THERE IS NO DEMARCATED PARKING SPACE FOR VISITORS STAYING OVER ,SO IT WAS A BATTLE IF YOU LEFT YOUR PARKING SPACE AND RETURN AND COULD NOT FIND PARKING.

    It is perfect if you are adults wanting to get away from the...

    It is perfect if you are adults wanting to get away from the noisy city. Very very quiet and peaceful. I would not recommend it when traveling with kids as there are not really any facilities for them at the property, However, the beaches, restaurants and coffee shop are about 10 km away. That is a plus!
