Vida Nova is a true gem tucked away in a quiet and safe area of Hout Bay close to Cape Town and perfect for exploration of the Cape peninsula. Elsa is a lovely host, the room with the sea view is amazing and right before the building there is a beach to swim. We were lucky enough during our stay to have a homecooked meal with a private concert. We felt privileged to be there at just the right time. If you are staying more then a few days in Cape Town. Consider coming here and combine it with cape point, and eating fish at fishhoek or houtbay.

Very close to the penguins, spacious, classic old style building, easy walk to restaurants, the breakfast snacks were appreciated and it was great to be able to make coffee!

Great location, very peaceful, parking great. Cottage well equipped, appreciated the tea/coffee and biscuits. Sofabed comfortable for my 2 young girls. Would definitely return!
