Loved the location,the bed, the room, the staff. The staff stored our luggage early so we could go sightseeing without worrying about leaving our luggage in the car.

This was not my first stay at Vida Nova Retreat, and once again it was a great experience. The location is beautiful, nestled in the mountains, very quiet and perfect for true relaxation. The pool is fantastic, and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our stay, which was a pity, as they usually cook really great food. Overall, a wonderful place that I’m happy to return to.

Was pleasantly surprised. At the price charged I was expecting a mediocre hotel. But this hotel far exceeded my expectations. Everything so clean, well maintained, excellent facilities. And to top it off we had to leave early and was offered an packed breakfast without asking.

Wonderful hotel with competent and friendly receptionists. Nice and comfortable room. The breakfast and dinners in the restaurant were delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. We can only recommend this hotel for a short or a longer stay in Hout Bay. Thank you!

I have stayed in a number of kalk bay properties and this is the best yet. The location is perfect with stunning views. You can even see the sea from the bath. Service was outstanding. I was horrifically ill during my stay and Faith went out of her way to meet my every need and the needs of my 3 year old. I was sad not to be able to eat more of the food on the menu as it was stunning. The design is beautiful and so relaxing. The bath was a dream.

Located in Simonʼs Town, in a historic building, 500 metres from Seaforth Beach, Bonne Esperance, Simon's Town is a recently renovated apartment with pool with a view and garden.

The host was in contact with us a few days before our arrival. She gave us the code to open the gate and was in the house when we arrived. The house is just across the main attraction of simon’s town boulder beach but it is not crowded or noice in the street

The welcoming and general friendliness of our host Debbie - really bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our stay at Pool Cottage, her pool was available at all times and very well maintained.
