- From US$238.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 139 reviews- very friendly staff - comfortable and large room with all amenities it requires - two nice pools, a larger and a smaller one - authentic breakfast, we especially liked the Uganda Rolex dish :) - close proximity to Addo Elephant Park main entrance - Management pro-actively mentioning the proximity of a gravel road close by where there's potential louder truck traffic (but was not a problem at all) - also, as there is no dinner available, the Elephant House already reserved us a table in a restaurant near by - excellent service! - large grocery shopping facility within 5min driveGuest review byPatrickSwitzerland
- From US$304.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 545 reviewsthe cottages were all beautifully decorated with every comfort available. The view was out of this world, and the welcome from the all the staff including the owners was really appreciated by this group of travelers all the way from Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean. WiFi was excellent and the guides on our 5-6 hour drive to see the elusive lion, the elephants etc were very knowledgeable . All arrangements handled by management and staff for our comfort before and during our stay was done in a timely manner and with great expertise.Guest review byAnne-MarieTrinidad and Tobago
- From US$506.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 599 reviewsThe setting was so beautiful with absolutely incredible views. We booked for 2 nights & after a day in Addo the first day we decided to spend the full 2nd day in camp figtree & it was so relaxing; they had nice deck chairs by the little pool, lovely food & drinks, the staff were all fantastic. Our room (the outpost) was gorgeous, we had an outdoor shower & bath and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this spot especially if you are looking for relaxation & luxury in the middle of a trip!Guest review byMaeveIreland
- From US$794.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsWe had an amazing stay at an amazing lodge. In particular: great food, spectacular views and super well organized safaries in the mornings and afternoons. From the moment you arrive at the gates, you can fully relax as everything is well taken care of. Thanks also to Melanie for making the Safaris unforgettable and for spotting all the animals we would otherwise have missed as well as for the vivid and detailed explanations.Guest review byIsabelGermany
- From US$149.62 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 512 reviewsVery friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious apartment, comfortable beds (which have heating!! Important during cold season). Great game drive with very knowledgeable guide Lize - highly recommend! We also requested a little birthday surprise for my friend so they arranged cake, sparkling wine and some flowers that were waiting in the room on our arrival. Very well organized!Guest review byZIVILELithuania

We have been to Addo probably 40 times and just never get enough of it, and once again on rare occassions, saw a lioness up close. As always there were plenty of Buffalo, Elephant, Zebra, Red Hardebeest, Warthog, Kudu, and oh! a Hyena!Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

My stay at Adventure Apartment, Colchester was truly wonderful. The space was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and offered a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. Every detail from the serene surroundings to the warm and welcoming ambiance, was thoughtfully arranged. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and a touch of elegance. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting againGuest review byMemory ZodwaSouth Africa - 8.0
We liked the venue. The environment is beautiful.
We liked the venue. The environment is beautiful. The road was a challenge, but we knew that we had to come with a 4x4 vehicle and the men knew how to drive on a 4x4 route. It was raining when we arrived and it was cold, but everybody should know not to travel without a jacket.Guest review byRiaanNamibia - 10.0

We did an afternoon Giraffe walk through Bellevue Lodge and it was amazing - we were taken on a safari vehicle onto a game reserve and from there had to find the grazing giraffe. Once we spotted them, we drove close by and then got out of the vehicle to walk close (but not too close) to the giraffe to watch them eat their dinner. It was a lovely experience, and our guide Stephen was knowledgeable and friendly, answering all our questions. We stayed at the Bellevue Lodge for 1 night, it was a lovely small property with friendly staff.Guest review bySusanSwitzerland - 10.0
The accommodation was lovely and very kids friendly.
The accommodation was lovely and very kids friendly. We had an amazing time, very relaxing, kids loved the pool and all the lego. Game drive was an absolute favorite with drinks at a lovely view point. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone to relax and rewind!Guest review byNienkeSouth Africa - 8.0
Addo was lovely, and the map was easy to navigate.
Addo was lovely, and the map was easy to navigate. I could easily do two days in the Addo and it's full of surprises. Make sure to go to the bathroom at the beginning, because toiletbreaks are far inbetween. Make sure your devices are fully charged and you have backup, because you'll be taking a lot of pics. Currently the roadworks to Addo makes it a longer drive, but all goo.Guest review byLydiaSouth Africa - 10.0

We stayed at Dungbeetle River Lodge for 2 nights while visiting Addo. We arrived in the late afternoon and then took a full day game drive from the lodge. It was a bit much for us and would do a morning game drive next time. The experience was awesome, it was just too long for our pensioner bodies! Staying 2 nights was perfect because the evening gave us a nice recovery period before we hit the road for our return to Cape Town. Dungbeetle River Lodge was a perfect location from which to travel into Addo. It's literally 3 minutes from the south gate of the park.Guest review byCharlesSouth Africa - 10.0
Everything was quite on point.
Everything was quite on point. From the receptionist service to the restaurant food and the tour around the park and service from the tour guide. Enjoyable, you will enjoy this if you love nature but probably go for the morning tour, there may be lions then.Guest review byDingiswayo - 4.0

Not a quaint little tourist town, and somewhat disappointed with our stay (for choice of shops, restaurants and ease of access to the river, lack of info for St Croix marine reserve). The Sand dunes are spectacular, but also not easy to access as on private property. The day visit permit is affordable (via Pearson resort) yet this information is not easily available to visitors. Close proximity to Addo South Gate which is great. Some marketing PR would go a long way!Guest review byCherylSouth Africa
