Absolutely in love. I know hidden gem gets thrown around a lot in reviews but this is real. It's away from the main part of Mui Ne. Less than 10mins ride from the Hanh Cafe sleeper bus drop off point. And it is also off the main road. So it nice and peaceful. And when you step in, oh my gawd, the space is truly gorgeous. Multiple rooms scattered around the villa in different configurations and on different floors. Each room is furnished beautifully with a calm and relaxation in mind. My room came with a huge outdoor bath area and huge bathtub too. Each room had a small patio to chill at, mine even came with a hammock. Nice pool to tan at with a small bar by the side. Large breakfast area, and also a lounge area at the front of the property. The staff will check you in and the owner will also drop you a text to give some info. You can rent a scooter with them or have them arrange transport for you. But Mui Ne traffic is easy and safe to navigate via scooter. There's a restaurant less than 200m away, owned by the same owner of the villa, that serves a variety of dishes both local and international. There's a cafe out on the main road if you need your coffee fix. Red Sand Dunes is 5mins away. White Sand Dunes is about 30mins away. Where to start, it was amazing!! The whole hotel looks beautiful, it’s a really peaceful and cozy place to stay. The room is very big and the beds were the best we’ve had in months. The shower is also really great and everything was clean. They even had a diffuser in the room with a nice lemongrass smell. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The location is also good, really close to the beach, supermarket, market, restaurants, food court etc. Would really recommend this lovely hotel :)

Very clean and professional place. Good English speaking on the front desk. The best hotel we stayed in Vietnam for the entire month. The room was very clean and wide. Amazing view and quiet in the night. The staff has been friendly and kind. Highly recommended. Also good position, close to many restaurants and just two minutes walking from the beach. Beautiful pool and rooftop bar. Absolutely recommend also for the price we paid. Well done!

    The staff was excellent.

    The staff was excellent. Beautiful views from bothe the balcony and rooftop bar. The pool was really nice and the food in both the restaurant and bar was good. The 24 hr pick up and go was very well stocked and convenient. The restaurants along the street also had excellent food.

    Old Mui Ne (near Phan Thiet) is entertaining and one can find good seafood and western style restaurants. Basically a place for Vietnamese to enjoy the beach. The beach in Mui Ne is much nicer than Vung Tau and it is better accessible than Vung Tau due to the new expressway. With small children Asteria is certainly a good choice. Foreign adults have nothing to do here and they should go to "old" Mui Ne. Or Nha Trang.

    Buses from the south are likely to drop you at the beach,...

    Buses from the south are likely to drop you at the beach, and transfer you to town with a free minibus shuttle. I stored my luggage at the bus office and walked to Fairy stream, then caught a later shuttle. This was a good way to do it as I hate tours, and only had one more full day to see the sand dunes. Fairy streem is not to be missed.

    Value for money, location, service I cannot rate it more highly. Peaceful, communication was easy with the staff, plenty of comfortable day beds to relax around the pool. If u didn’t want to leave and go anywhere this is perfect to park up and relax

    The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive...

    The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive from Dallas across the very winding road across the hills I think the drive from HCM is more straightforward but twice as long but around 3hours 30 Minutes. I'd go back but only when the Phan Thiet airport opens in 2025. Next tim I would stay Mui Ne side of Phan Thiet

    It is a lovely beach but covered in plastic sadly. The area is very developed for tourism so not pretty behind the beach..but plenty of cheap shops if you like that sort of thing. Our hotel was amazing...without that it would be been less enjoyable.

    The Me Bungalow was in a excellent setting and There was plenty to do in surrounding areas Henry the owner organised excursions for us and they were top class . Recommend the Chinese Buddha and dragon fruit farm tour 👍restaurants We’re very good ( and there’s plenty of them ) . But if you don’t want to go out the food at the bungalow is good too . 😋
