The staff was very friendly and helpful. Big plus that we could park our motorbike in the garage for free. The bed was really comfortable and much needed after exploring the northern part of Vietnam by motorbike.

The view from the dining area was fantastic. The room is comfortable. Communal areas are very cosy. The food is very good. The vibe is casual and relax. The staff was super friendly even though we had a language barrier. Overall, it is a great place to wind down from an overdose of city life.

Things to do are scattered around the city.

Things to do are scattered around the city. Some interesting landmarks such as the Mac Citadel, To Thi mountain, Ky Cung river, Chi Lang pass, and Bac Son valley which is very pretty in the spring. Make sure you visit Dong Kinh market where you can buy China's imported merchandises with very good deals (if you have the needs for it and if you like the styles and quality) Transportation around the city by taxis is easy and cheap. People are so nice and friendly. Great food, I really like Cao Sang, Coong phu, roasted pork and duck, the steamed cai ngong vegetable; but not so much for the sour pho (not really good for my taste, but it is a Lang Son's specialty, so I tried just to know the experience)
