Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I like Springfield.
I like Springfield. I love going to the river and just sitting and relaxing. I also like going to Gateway Mall. Just hop the EMX and you are on your way and you can go all over! You can even easily hop over to Eugene or also to Thurston County. And if you need to get to the University of Oregon, it's right there as well.Guest review byJeanUnited States - 10.0

Enchanting little town with good shopping and fairly good restaurants. It is mostly geared toward students, those visiting them, and those residing in the suburbs. The people of Corvallis are what makes Corvallis, Corvallis (Oregonians too!).Guest review byScandaPlanoUnited States - 10.0

Other than the fact that no one could find my reservation, it was an affordable over-nighter with clean, quiet room. I stay here every year. It is clean, convient to shopping and county fairgrounds.Guest review bypeterUnited States - 6.0
The holel instead of upgradinig the outside to look more...
The holel instead of upgradinig the outside to look more modern should have first spent their money on the inside making it more electronic friendly. Most travelers need a place to recharge their phones/computers,tablets and such and don't carry a normal plugin device with them. They have a cord with a USB plug in. Nothing speical or great about Woodburn. It's near Oregon Gardens which is a beautiful place to visit. During the tulip flooming time of year it's closeGuest review byJudieUnited States - 10.0

Third Street has everything you need, from great tasting rooms, to dinner restaurants, local spots for breakfast. The shopping was fun as were the art galleries. The location to vineyards was a huge plus!!!!Guest review byAndreaUnited States - 8.0

We enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood, the cultural center and George Fox University. The town was close to all the wineries we wanted to visit from McMinnville and Dundee. After a week, we only used 2/3 tank gas and that included to and from the airport. Watch out for uneven, broken sidewalks and cyclists who use sidewalks instead of the street.Guest review byDeniseUnited States - 10.0

Great little town, good places to eat, and close to Mount Angel Abbey where we heard the Oregon Bach Festial produce the Mass in B minor. Also really close to the Oregon Garden. We didn't have time to get to Silver Fall, we need another trip.Guest review byDianeUnited States
