Beautiful, breathtaking view, loads of hiking trails and many restaurants for every taste. Loved being up high, like Airport Mesa lookout and Chapel of Holy Cross, for a wide-angel view of the city. The town is full of resorts that make your stay relaxing and convenient. Plenty of stores, shops and a great visitors center to complete your stay. Situated in the Verde Valley, the area offers a variety of charming towns nearby like Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome and Camp Verde. Pristine ,well equipped and quaint historical lodge. Christmas lights at Train station was a beautiful view. Decor is eclectic and interesting. Perfect first floor room for my 95 year old Mother. We will be back. Great linens and plenty TP. No Tissues or Paper towels. Bring your own and a dish scrubber or cloth. Best thing about Mund's Park is having cool summer mornings and nights in pleasant wooded neighborhood. Rental cost may be slightly lower than same quality/type of accommodation in Flagstaff or Sedona, but it's pricey enough! Must drive 17 miles or more to get to many attractions, a variety of restaurants and grocery stores, shops, etc. There are 2-3 restaurants available, a Saturday market, and 2 gas station convenient stores.
