Cleanliness, design of the room, comfortable bed. Nice and helpful staff. Information brochure about the city with interesting info in the room. We booked it last minute on our way to Sonora and it was a very pleasant surprise. I feel lucky that we could book the last available room. Totally worth the money, I would happily return anytime.

Clean rooms, Great location, Good staffs!! We had memorable times with kids in Ski season. The staffs were friendly for travelers, we were really relaxed in there. One of our recommendations was Strawberry Hamburger in the restaurant. If you have a chance, try it!

Glad we splurged on this stay. Staff were great, 24hour pool and hot tub were a great addition. It was our anniversary and they gave us a free drinks voucher which was lovely. About 45 minute drive to Yosemite falls and cheaper than staying in the valley.

The member of staff we spoke to, Praise, was lovely and very welcoming. She was operating reception and also doing cleaning. Despite being so busy she was bubbly and friendly. The facilities were very clean and the Inn was quiet yet close to highway.

Waking up in these tents in a super comfortable bed but in the middle of nature was an exceptional experience. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Keep in mind it is 45min drive to the valley to avoid being surprised. But highly recommend.

The lovely family at the Berkshire Inn made our three days and nights there just perfect. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast is delicious, and the town has fun restaurants and a grocery store. With Yosemite in driving distance it was perfect for our three days exploring the park.

Twain Harte is a charming, uncrowded downtown with a perfect balance. It features a few restaurants, bars, and adorable antique gift shops. The Twain Harte Market has everything you need, making it very convenient. There are also some great hiking trails nearby. I highly recommend visiting Columbia State Historic Park and Pinecrest Lake. The Historic Park includes buildings from the California Gold Rush era that remain today, while the 4-mile loop trail around Pinecrest Lake offers an easy to moderate hike—challenging but definitely doable.

Long Barn is an excellent choice summer or winter.

Long Barn is an excellent choice summer or winter. The atmosphere is quaint with red painted cottages and breathtaking pine trees surrounding the premises. In the summer there is an enormous pool which is wonderful for all ages. In the winter there is an ice skating rink and a large grounds to play in the snow. There are hotel rooms and fully equipped cabins for large families and friends. Long Barn is the best choice to stay for a trip to Dodge Ridge or Pinecrest.

Jamestown is small and quiet.

Jamestown is small and quiet. It’s great if you have a dog and you want someplace peaceful for Fourth of July. Sonora, which is much bigger is only a few minutes away. Columbia is not far either There are a lot of antique shops both in Sonora Jamestown and if that’s what you’re into it’s a great place to go

The very clean rooms, more than helpful staff and dining access on the property were the most important to my group of three. In addition, the attached balcony was perfect for an evening spent winding down from the trip. The meals we had were cooked exactly as asked and were very good as well. At the time of our visit, the pool was not yet open for the season and would have been welcome by our group.

I can not promote this location enough!

I can not promote this location enough! I travel very often across Cailfornia and this has to be one of my favorite spots for friends and family alike. I love the quaint feel matched with the comfort of a new age environment. There was plenty of space within the cabins as well as from other cabins around us. I didn't feel like we were bothering people, even though we were loud at times, and we never heard other guests. Everything was perfect.
