We enjoyed Santa Barbara as usual. We have been coming there once a year for about 10 years. We enjoyed the Trolley Tour, although we have had better guides. We were actually working in Santa Barbara but all the rooms were booked up there maybe the last few days of our job and it was a good experience in Santa Barbara and in Carpinteria we stopped by a few stores while we were there and the workers were very friendly. Easy walk from Motel 6 on Carpinteria Street to restaurants and the beach. "The Spot" for burgers! Little Dom's for fancy feed. I walked my doggie in her stroller. When I visit my daughter and grandson in Santa Barbara, I like to have my privacy so I stay here. The dog and i can walk to the beach boardwalk in 20 minutes. There's the tasty burger shack where we share! There are bathrooms. On the way to the beach you will find restaurants and shops. The old doggie is in a nice-sized stroller, so we can bring back goodies. Right next door to the Motel 6 on Carpenteria Street is a grocery store, dollar-type store, and Goodwill too!
