The beach was so wonderful!! I loved the shells!
The beach was so wonderful!! I loved the shells! I want to go back again with the proper shell finding strainer and containers for found shells to take home. Beach was so peaceful. There is a shell washing station as you exit the beach.Guest review byJeanUnited States - 8.0
The shelling was good on Sanibel, but better on a public...
The shelling was good on Sanibel, but better on a public beach near the tip of Captiva. I got better shells that were actually "whole". See pics below. We ate at Doc Ford's Restaurant & the food was excellent. Another night, we ate at Cajun Mudbugs. The food was so-so, seafood was overcooked & dry. Frankly, I'm a better Cajun cook. They had live entertainment. We were expecting Acadian/ Cajun music, but instead they had a single musician, who played popular & oldie music. He was a good guitarist, but his singing was off key & extremely loud. You couldn't hear yourself think, let alone have a nice conversation at the table. It was an expensive ruined evening.Guest review byJackUnited States
