You need to order at the bar, so you need to make sure you have the time to eat breakfast or get coffee. But the upside is that it is freshly made. They even made me a vegan and glutenfree breakfast, so was really happy with that. Very friendly staff.

We stayed at the Crystal Inn for 3 nights. Breakfast: Very good variety of food with sausages, bacon, eggs, oatmeal, cereal and a variety of tasty fruits. Room: We stayed in room 453 with two double beds. Room was very clean and spacious. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Location: It's a 10-minute ride from the airport and walking distance to the convention center. Staff: Check-in was very easy. My wife had arrived the day before and they had no problems checking her in. They were very communicative via email. When we arrived at the airport we called in the hotel and the shuttle was there within 10 minutes. The breakfast staff worked very hard to make sure the food trays were always replaced and the tables were cleaned. I would definitely stay here again!

I came to Metropolitan Inn because Motel 6 did not honor my reservation. Motel 6 left me and my family on the street at 1am looking for a hotel, even though my stay was paid in advance 2 weeks before. I found Metropolitan Inn nearby and the receptionist was very kind and polite and provided a room for us to spend the night. The next day I booked 2 weeks though Booking.com and we had a very good time. The hotel is located near everything of interest in SLC, train station, trax, bus, restaurants, attractions, etc. The price was good and the staff was amazing always willing to help.

One night stopover. We were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We especially liked having a full size fridge that was already cold and a freezer to refreeze ice packs as my boyfriend has diabetes and we travel with insulin. The hotel was conveniently located with restaurants near by, especially an In N Out! Plenty of parking and no riff raff. Of course we would have liked the price a bit lower, but it was significantly less than any other hotels. We will definitely stay here again!

Incredible hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was unreal with the best bathroom ever. Comfortable bed. Clean. Perfect hours for checking in- and out. They bring you breakfast to your door in the morning. Seriously, if you have to stay in Salt Lake just stay here. I highly doubt you'll find any better.

Good location and amazing views from the rooftop pool area, lovely decorated hotel overall. However beware of the staff, especially cleaning staff walking into your room without your permission while you are inside. We were sleeping and the latina staff cleaning lady knocked on our door 2 hours before our check out and then just walked right inside while I was still sleeping trying to wake up to the knocking on my door. I got so scared and my daughter as well that someone walked into our room! I gasped and then she left. I ran after her and she pretended to be checking something with some board she was holding. I said we have a late check out and she said oh yes ok, without any apologies. It was the starriest hotel experience I have ever had in my life. I was left standing shaking and my daughter completely traumatized. I called the front desk to report it but the manager never even had the courtesy to reach out back to me to apologize! Horrible uneducated staff and management. This cleaning lady latina who walked into our room should be fired and I should have called the police. I don’t know why she wanted to walk into our room, to steal something perhaps and what if it was to kidnap my child? We were left feeling really sad and upset and will NEVER TRUST Le Meridian hotel group again or any hotel for that matter.

It seems that West Valley isn’t the safest or nicest area of the SLC area. We chose to stay here because we were attending an event at the Maverik Center. Would chose to stay in another area next time.

Major remodeling going on. Cannot wait until it is finished. Pool and hot tub were a nice place to escape. Bed was comfortable. I will try again next year. McDonald’s and Dennys were across parking lot. Handy location, right by freeway. Excellent sushi restaurant on 7200 in the Fort Union area.

The city offers a lot of restaurants and amenities if you want to avoid the Salt Lake City crowds. Just be aware a lot of cafes, eatery are not open before 9 or 10 am. Good place to spend the night and explore outside of SLC

I love it here very clean lots of options for food and easy to find your way around as most of the Salt Lake Valley is laid out on a grid. We had a great time at the Murray City Pool, the restaurants were amazing and I would recommend Murray to anyone visiting Salt Lake City

Super nice area!

Super nice area! You know it’s nice when there is a Bently/lambo dealer down the street. But seriously, the hotel is right on the Jordan river which has an exceptional trail to ride/run. Plus there are many restaurants nearby to satisfy just about any craving. I couldn’t recommend the location enough!

We had a car rental, which you need in Salt Lake City. There is a lot of traffic and many fast food restaurants. It was very hot and dry in August, in case you aren't familiar with Utah. We had dinner at Toscono a couple of times, which had great bread, pasta - I'd stay away from the pizza. We also went to Brewvie, where we watched the movie Naked Gun and had drinks and food while watching the show. It was kind of a dive bar experience, but we loved it because we had a hard time finding anything authentic in Salt Lake City.

Part of the Salt Lake valley. Close to skiing. Lots of grocery stores. Shopping is all over. The place and gas is cheaper than Nv. Didn't have much choice with places to eat because we were always late getting back into town

The location was convenient.

The location was convenient. The mountains reminded me of Maui with some cloud coverage at the peaks. One night male employee didn’t seem happy to take food orders, so I didn’t make any. Gym was nice and so was the pool. The room had Hyatt standards. I’ll stay there again…but hopefully they’ll let people get an extra hour to help with the time change before driving to their next destination.

Salt Lake City is developing a charming Christmas market that really captures the festive spirit of the season. We chose to stay here to avoid travel hassles, and it turned out to be a great decision. While SLC may not appeal to everyone, the city has a rich cultural history and a unique character.
