Orangeburg has some great places to check out!
Orangeburg has some great places to check out! Restaurants worth going to are Gino's Bagel, Nonna's Pizza, Fiesta Mexico, and Thai Garden. Head down 340 to Tallman Mountain State Park for some nice trails and scenic views of the Hudson River. Most places are walking distance, while there are some sidewalks a lot of people get around by car here.Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0
Stayed for overnight location along driving route.
Stayed for overnight location along driving route. Not a pleasant area. Driving access awkward-ramps poorly-marked, U-turns to do everything. Lots of aggressive, horn-blowing drivers. But much of the NYC area is this way. Avoid staying in Nanuet if possible.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 4.0
Deplorable hotel room!!!
Deplorable hotel room!!! The rugs were dirty and the wallpaper was stained. The ceiling paint was peeling off the walls& the furniture was old and scratched! The lighting in the room was dismal & overall appearance was eery and below budget to the point. I slept with the lights on all night in case anything would jump on my bed I can see it faster that with the lights off. The room also smelled musty with a odor. Do not stay at this hotel please save your money!! When I came back from my event & complained to the front desk which is when I really noticed everything … the worker said all the rooms are the same so if that’s the case why bother to be a guest unless you like sleeping in filth with your family!! Never again!!Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0
I was given a handicap access room which I did not ask for.
I was given a handicap access room which I did not ask for. Therefore the showerhead was up to my chest and I had to practically do a backbend to wash my hair. The bathroom ceiling grate was black and there was pubic hairs all over the floor and bathtub. I will not be staying there again.Guest review byaliaUnited States - 10.0

Suffern is a very nice place, beautiful neighborhoods, a small, nice center, shopping centers in the city or in neighboring cities. Bonaire in particular is a beautiful, peaceful community, with fantastic trees, deer in the gardens ....Guest review byequinterosArgentina - 6.0

We were camping at Beavers pond and my parents needed a close motel to stay at. i=It was a good stay. It had a fridge and microwave. they said the toilet was too low. Bathroom could use an upgrade but it did the job.Guest review byalemaUnited States - 8.0
Comfortable accommodations for a few nights stay.
Comfortable accommodations for a few nights stay. Decent breakfast with friendly staff. Parts of the room showing their age but not terribly. Excellent location for accessing all of Rockland County and NYC if need be.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 10.0
Nyack is an adorable town right off the highway.
Nyack is an adorable town right off the highway. The strawberry place for breakfast is a must, two Villans brewery for good beer and food, kavas Greek restaurant for delicious drinks and gyros, and so much more! The hotel bar had delicious drinks and over all amazing staff we stayed 5 days and made some good conversation with everyone. The pool and hot tub were nicely kept and extremely relaxing. Great easy parking. If you take tarrytown train which is a 15 min drive from Nyack you can easily access grand central station for Manhattan. Highly recommend this area. We also drove to the beach in jersey which was only a 2 hour drive from the hotel. Definitely worth every penny especially compared to reviews on nearby hotels.Guest review byMatthewUnited States - 8.0

The hotel was very nondescript in a fairly unattractive area (strip malls and gas stations) but it was convenient to 287 and I only needed a place to stay the night. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, even though some of the furniture and decor was a bit worn. The receptionist who checked me in was not particularly friendly or welcoming but seemed stressed out (the inn was sold out that night). I've had much better stays elsewhere but the hotel was perfectly adequate for one night.Guest review byElizabeth - 10.0

First time staying in that part of NY and was very unsure going somewhere the first time by myself. In my opinion it exceeded my expectations. It was clean, and I felt very safe traveling someplace new by myselfGuest review byCynthiaUnited States
