About 25 feet from our room was a rooftop patio overlooking the ocean & surrounding area. We loved the whole back area where the pool and spas, and little fire pit areas are. Great area to sit and eat the complimentary breakfast in the mornings and watch the waves! Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, pancakes, waffles, bagles, fruit, juice, pasteries, and hot drinks. Room was good size, bed was large & comfortable. Coffee with kcups in the morning. Bath/shower combo. (My husband loves baths!) There is a restaurant that shares the parking lot on the property. They were good and delivered to your room, if you wanted.😊

A lovely hotel about 3hours from LAX for an one night 2 day stopover in LA.
A treat for our last night of holidays. And wasn't it a treat.
Hired a car, and arrived to Valet parking (extra), a beautiful comfortable room, and the most friendliest Hotel and Restaurant staff I have ever experienced.
Sadly the weather wasn't in our favour, so swimming and hopping in spa wasn't on our list, but it didn't stop others as it was heated.
The food, views, staff and decore at the Marisol Restaurant was sensational.
There is an ocean walk path to enjoy as well.

Nice location by the ocean, with a beautiful garden on the cliffs. The garden had several gas-powered fireplaces that the guest could use.
They also had a heated swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Pismo is still hanging on to the retro beach town that makes it fun to visit. A little too much of what looks like not-much-regard-for-the-aesthetics-of-the-town, development. And, too many tacky businesses allowed to spring up, but still, it retains the old beach town quality. A walk out the pier and a stroll on the beach, is all you need-- and then maybe a good fish dinner.

I loved the grounds-the waterfall, the bridge, the plentiful flowers, the breakfast, and getting a good nights sleep was so refreshing! I was glad our room had a tub as I prefer taking baths!
We ate at ednme pizza in town and it was delicious! Getting around Arroyo Grande was easy, and the yound woman working the room for breakfast was, sweet, warm, friendly and so busy making sure everyone was well fed and happy!

Beer go up so this is a consideration for the city to provide even if you have to pay put up kiosk to buy a multiple usage ticket . Or have vendors sell tickets so lines

Unit #508 was old, many things were broken, unusable & unclean. Moldy bathroom, rotten flooring and trim and door handle not functioning. Fireplace unsafe with trip hazard (floor trim around the fireplace - half missing and the rest laying unattached). All sinks where missing drain stops or baskets.

We really enjoyed our visit to the downtown of Arroyo Grande...
We really enjoyed our visit to the downtown of Arroyo Grande one evening where we stopped by Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab. A nostalgic place to enjoy some tasty ice cream and view historic photos of its early beginning and imagine what it was like back then to be a child in this place with toys and treats surrounding you. We ate a Thai restaurant in nearby Grover Beach and Mexican restaurant that specialized in seafood.

Avila Beach is a quiet town with a beautiful promenade and harbour.
Our hotel was outstanding and just a short walk from the promenande with spectacular views across the bay.
Cannot recommend highly enough for a short stay.

Grover Beach offers the Oceano Dunes and the Monarch Butterfly Grove. It is very close to Pismo Beach and is an affordable option for lodging in the area. The Spoon Trade restaurant in Grover Beach was featured on Guy Fiero's show and serves delicious American food, and the Sourdough Bakery across the street offers scrumptious breakfast sandwiches and freshly baked sourdough loaves as well as other baked treats.

Great location and cost for being so near the beach. Good rooms if you get the renovated ones. Stayed there several times. Great Mexican restaurant a block up! HOWEVER, no one on site 24/7 to ask questions and limited time when you can pick up your keys unless you make other arrangements. Also, maybe an isolated incident but they would not accept my Mastercard for some odd reason and I had to use my ATM. No directions how to use the fireplace and the "front desk" did not have any either.
