Nice town and walk around the fountain - seemed like a popular meeting place. Some nice restaurants and close enough to Scottsdale and Phoenix for others. I would not recommend it in January - highs some days in high 40s and some in the low 70s. The locals say S Arizona best in the "shoulder" months.

The scenery is beautiful.
The scenery is beautiful. It has a small-town feel with small restaurants and bars run by cool people. Everyone is friendly and seemed to enjoy the bikers invading their town for a week. I definitely recommend it.

We loved visiting fountain hills. The scenery is just gorgeous; perfect for a romantic picnic or to breakaway from busy life for a day of disc golf or reflexion. We caught an art festival while walking around the park and watched a football game at a local sports bar. Would love to go back next time I visit Phoenix.

I went back and checked and saw that I did receive the gate/keycode info email but on the same day as I started travel - after which I had no access to this specific email account.
I'd highly recommend requesting this email at least a week in advance in case one has any questions.

Close to McDowell Mt Regional Park. Great place to stay after Javelina Jundred. Only wish it had a tub but everything was top notch at a good price. Beautifully remodeled. Coffee and light breakfast offerings. Pool and jacuzzi. - Fountain Hills is pretty quiet. Call ahead to make sure restaurants are still open.

The place was clean and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful.
I definitely would booked again if i am in the area.
Only suggestion- have a few bottles of water in the refrig. When you are travelling 3 1/2hrs to location it would be nice to have a refreshing drink upon arrival
